During the Ramadan month you can find Ramadan Bazaars in areas where Muslim people are living. Here in Hat Yai Southern Thailand there is a huge Muslim population and therefore you can also find a Ramadan Bazaar here in Hat Yai. These Ramadan Bazaars are full with delicious food, of course halal food. So, let’s explore around the Hat Yai Ramadan Bazaar today and see what Muslim Food options we can find. I wanted to try special Ramadan Food, which you can only find during the Ramadan on these bazaars.
Have you been to a Ramadan Bazaar? What’s your favorite food there Let me know in the comments ⬇️

I am Ken Abroad, a full-time traveler traveling southeast Asia, currently living in Thailand, making Thailand travel vlogs. It is my goal here on this channel to visit every country in southeast Asia and bring you along the journey.
You won’t see much tourist places in my videos, I rather like to show the “real” sides of each country in my videos. Where do the local people go to eat? Where do they hang out? How do the locals travel through the country? Stuff like that.
There will be almost daily uploads on this channel, during the next months from Bangkok and Thailand. I will be traveling Thailand, showing you around local places in Bangkok or try lots of different Thai food. Join the journey if you are interested in experiencing Bangkok now and Thailand 2021 from a more authentic local point of view.

Before the pandemic, it was a MUST for me to visit Ramadan Bazaar. It's a food hunting place visited by both Muslims and non - Muslims. Oh gosh, the food sold are remarkable... too many in my "like list" 😀😀😀

Selamat Hari Raya Greg & Jumi ... We Malaysians muslims and non muslims celebrate Hari Raya ... Of course d non muslims Malaysians would not celebrate as how d muslims Malaysians do but d non muslims Malaysians celebrate Raya or other Malaysian celebrations like Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Christmas, Gawai & Kaamatan by wishing Happy Celebration and do house visiting on those celebrations ... Of course in view of d current pandemic, number of people per visits is limited ... And Raya this year only one day of Raya is allowed for those visits unlike d normal 2 days ... Since u two had stayed so long in Malaysia previously and thus considered as part of us Malaysians so thus that is why I wish u two Selamat Hari Raya as well ... hahaha ... Anyway take care u two and have a great time in Thailand there and of course stay safe always where ever u two may be ... cheers ...

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri to you, Ken and everyone who is celebrating it. 🎉🎉🥳
7:53 Looks similar to the Kelantanese food called "Kuih Bunga Tanjung" 9:07 Looks similar to Malaysian "Sira Labu" made of pumpkin.
Wow the bazaar is very lively! It's a great sight hahaha I also like how you have a list of food that you want to try prepared on your phone, very efficient !
Thank you Ken for featuring the ramadan bazaar in Hat yai. It’s good to know that their food are similar to Malaysia.

Nice to see Ken wearing Malaysian jersey. Pls stay safe Ken.
It's really mouth-watering watching you eating the grilled beef Ken...its reminded back my childhood time in Kota Bharu where Kelantanese also used to eat roti canai with condensed milk...and really interesting to see the Ramadhan bazaar situation over there with the people and menus..thanks for bringing that up to us..nice job! Selamat Hari Raya to all!

Great, very apt & relevant content Ken .... Aah Ramly Burger everywhere until Hat Yai, Thailand, huh ... Roti canai too ... But more importantly for me it's nice to see d other delicacies esp d Thai delicacies for their ' iftar ' or Thai delicacies for d breaking of their fast there ... Thai delicacies that we Malaysian might never heard of or know of ... Great video and content Ken ... Very informative indeed for me .... Thumbs up .... 👍 ... And Selamat Hari Raya Ken and all viewers here ...
Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri, @KenAbroad!! Enjoy..stay safe & stay blessed!!!

The murtabak is rather thin, in Malaysia it is normally served with pickled onions (perhaps you could remember). The method of making roti canai looks similar to Malaysia. Thais love very sweet food, not surprise that they serve roti canai with condense milk plus sugar. I prefer my roti canai with curry gravy. The grilled beef with sticky rice look yummy. 👍👍👍

Nice video ..🤗
another vlog for today ✨ the only muslim food (not sure if it is but it is quite popular meal in the south among muslim filipino & you'll gonna find this food into different Islamic community here in the Philippines) i think i had was the " pastil " it is a rice dish made with steamed rice wrapped in banana leaves with dry shredded beef, chicken, or fish. it helps me to survive mi highschool days when im saving my allowance very cheap & delicious meal 👌✨

Ahh thai sauce!!... The best!!
Hat yai was a favourite shopping destination for many Malaysians during precovid days and when the exchange rate was more favourable. In the southern provinces bordering Malaysia many can speak Malay.
Honey...Honey...nice cool song Ken😂
Wow Ken, you can really eat. Bought so much food. Ha ha.
Malaya Tiger! Yeahhh👍🏻 Stay safe Ken..

Adorable tour around this Ramadan Bazaar. It's a massive one with lots of food/ drinks/ desserts. The murtabak is thinner than the one we have in Malaysia. Haha...guess this is the first time you come across Ramly burger since your stay in Thailand, right? Grilled beef with glutinous rice look aroi mak 😋😋😋 Thanks, Ken, for showing and sharing with us this interesting walk around. Good content !!!
