That first one was perfect for a single person. The second one was perfect for a couple. The third one was terrible. I would probably choose the 2nd one just for the amenities alone. Nice gym, awesome pool, and great views for an affordable price.

The price differential between Thailand and some part of the US is crazy! Here in SF,CA the price for the last one ($1300/month) would possibly rent you a room in a 3 or 4 bedroom older flat with one bathroom that you would share with 2 or 3 other adults.

Right? I said evne the 160$ first one was probably like 2k+ in California. lol, that last apartment would probably run 10k a month in san fran for sure.

I was expecting a lot more run down housing for $160, it's totally cute and clean. All that's needed and nothing you don't.

Listen Buddy: it's all been staged. They wouldn't show you a "normal" 5000-baht room, now would they? I've been renting rooms in Pattaya for ages. That kind of room, with flatscreen telly, kitchen and fancy toilet doesn't cost less than 10-12 grand, believe me. "If it sounds too cheap, it probably is..."😜

Ice is amazing! She helped me get a great apartment in Chiang Mai when I lived there 3 years ago! She made the process super smooth and I had the apartment within a day. So good to see her in this video.

Option #1 is what I would expect to live in on the low end retirement budget or Just to have a Base place to travel out of to explore the country before I decided where I wanted to live & have a more nicer expensive, place.

Damn. She is just amazing. It’s almost funny when you were describing food but your camera is still focused on her. What a smile.

We lived in Dcondo Nim for a year but after they built Dcondo Ping and we saw that pool 🤩 we moved there in a heartbeat! Thanks for taking us back! Love seeing our friend Ice, she was on a TV show with us 😂 still as charming as always

My husband and I love and enjoy each Paddy's show. He is such happy and the best ❤️

The first one is the best. If you save for 1 year. You can decorate the first one. Interior design goes a long way. Upgraded sheets and a few more painting. A few beautiful dishes etc etc. window curtains

The second condo with the large swimming pool definitely will be my selection. It's really value worth for money.

Thank you!! This was super helpful. I agree with other comments about that bathtub. I was like, “Wait. Did he just casually skip over a giant outdoor bathtub with a view??” And yeah, a bit more about location/accessibility to other stuff would be super helpful. Like I would def go fora not as nice place if it were walking distance to a bunch of cool things. Thanks again!!

It's so expensive in America... I live in Tijuana and cross the border everyday for work. My rent in downtown Tijuana is $350. I Would love to see you do a series in Mexico.

Agree, very livable, especially if you want a small place for when you travel or if you're moving it's a good place to stay whole you find a permanent home.

My friend lived in the first one! I lived in Nimman and I stayed with her before I left Thailand. Back then, it was way cheaper. I actually shared a 3 bedroom house with one roommate for 4,000 baht each.

I would’ve preferred to see the double sink, insides of cupboards, the actual size of the bathtub, a proper look at washers and dryers, etc., and all things *women* look for. Blessings! 🙏🏻 Jess.🌹

That pool wins me over hands down. Great professional guidance by Ice! Really does plant a seed for the future with moving to Thailand! Great vlog.....

Loved this content on different condos.. So well presented. Frankly I liked the second one the most and total value for money in terms of facilities, asthetic and ambience..

Sad that the view totally overshadowed the epic bathtub in the balcony 😅 we needed a paddy with a beer in the tub . Now that would have made an epic thumbnail 🤣🤣. Maybe for one of the other parts of this series.

Thanks for this video! I've lived abroad previously (in china) but moved back to the US a few years ago. Now I'm helping out my newly widowed grandmother & she's been crazy stressed worrying about me going back to Asia. For some reason watching your video helped her feel much more comfortable about my plans, since she knows I wont be living in a hellish place even if I'm only paying $300 for rent hahaha.

This was Extremely helpful! I've never been to Thailand but I've heard so many great things about it. This has made me want to travel there and I'm thinking about living there for 2 months. Not entirely sure what location or city I'll be staying in but I'm trying to do as much research as possible before I make my decision.

Good tip about checking the water pressure and temperature. We've been living in Nicaragua for the last year and if someone was watering the garden there wasn't enough water pressure to flush the toilet. We've just got a new pump to fix that issue, but it was very frustrating for a while there 😅

For $160 USD the first place is a nice no frills efficiency. I'm not going to pretend that it's a great place but it looks clean and well kept. I can't think of a single place in the US where you would get that type of clean, maintained, unit for $160.

Hey Paddy! For the longest pool you'll find in a condo in Thailand, try the condo known as "Boat House" in Hua Hin. I heard it's a km long, winding round all the blocks in the condo.

Glad it was helpful! Thai ovens are just not a thing...you can buy an electric oven but almost every house regardless of price, don't have ovens....baking is just not a thing here!

Enjoyed your video, I've used Perfect Homes before, they are very good. I stayed in Doi Ping Mansion back in 2016 for 12 months. I'm returning next year after a 4 year absence and looking at D Condo by Central Festival which is so handy to everywhere.

Nicely done, such a common video type but enjoyable because you are entertaining - in a good way! I liked the 2nd one best for sure and was pleasantly surprised by the purchase cost too. Nice one 🙏😎👍🏻

I am an irsh man I went to thiland for a lot of holidays I feel in love with the country I met my thia wife in Enniskillen we were only married a few years and I had a mojor stroke I had planned to retire in thiland sell my house and move out but all is on hold now I have not given up yet I was looking to buy a house r Avila for 3millon bt I was up north in thiland I seen houses for 35000pouns I am returning in 15years time I love cha am it was good to watch this it is good to c what u can get I would never rent long tem it’s dead money 🇨🇮🇨🇮

an accurate video...TY...I lived in Thailand part-time for years...some of the most elegant, sweetest (passionate) women in the world...and as a bonus as a "culture" they do not play stupid games like women from other nations..they are sweet and sensual....I had a condo in Pattaya and very wonderful and beautiful (and safe) to stay their...

The design of that pool at the second apartment is sublime, really stunning.

I enjoy watching vlogs about rental places ,gives a better feel n price of what to be expect and value for Money. I’d definitely stay in the second condo, I was sold at just the pool. 👍
