COF(Chip on Film) does the trick. It works with both IPS and OLED. Only flexible OLED supports COP(Chip on Plastic), that enable an even smaller chin design.

it would be nice to see how the mate 20 pro sound is when it has a usb c cable plugged into to the bottom port/speaker outlet and compare the sound again to the mate 20 .

Awesome phone! My absolute favourite rarely-talked about feature about Huawei phones is the ability to set an alarm even when the phone is off. You just set an alarm, turn off the phone and go to sleep, and then it will automatically turn itself on when it's time for your alarm to go off. I wish more phones had that feature smh.

@@iaingold7802 I actually hate curved displays. It was cool and all back in the day when the S6 Edge came out, but it's just an annoyance now. Almost no one praises it, but brands are still doing it on their most expensive flagships.

Checked them today in a store, I like the Mate 20 better. It's huge display without the curve and with a much smaller notch is just awesome! It's stereo speakers a bit odd because the earpiece side is a bit lower on volume, they should equale the sides on the software side when the phone is held in landscape.

Nice video! By the way, at 1:04 the Mate 20 charger is not the 40 Watt supercharger that comes with the Mate 20 pro but the 22,5 Watt! And that was the first time you called it right Mate 20 pro but it was the Mate 20 😋!

I pre-ordered both for mom and dad this afternoon
