There is no camera bump in the future. Current pricing of the RedMagic 9 Pro here: na.redmagic.gg/pages/redmagic... I enjoy gaming phones, since its usually the smartphones built for gaming, like this RedMagic 9 Pro where we see new technology, and designs, really shine.
This RedMagic 9 Pro has a built in RGB Turbo fan that spins at 22,000 RPM to cool down the internal processor. It also has a headphone jack AND 80watt charging AND an under screen camera. (5th generation) And no camera bump on the back.
If this is what the future looks like - I'm all for it.
To win one of the 2 non-damaged Red Magic 9 Pro's in this video just leave any comment on this video - and Ill pick 2 (two) Random winners in the next 7 days. The winners will be notified publicly with a response on their comment from my verified KZread channel.

Someone needs to make a phone with a matterial that repairs itself from small scratches and minor scuffs over time. I remember reading about this material back in 2014 I beleive.
cant remember the last time I used the selfie camera so having it hidden and not taking any screen real estate is great! The look on these is kinda cool and the fan implementation might be the best one I've seen yet, that could also be very useful when shooting longer videos.

If you are under 10 and believe portrait orientation is the best then the camera position is fine otherwise they should be in the middle of the back. This will reduce vibration. Is there some technical reason for not placing them there? Why glass backs? I would gladly forgo wireless charging for the better cooling of aluminium. Then there might not be a need for the added complexity of the fan. Apart from that, I like it

Same reason I switched to S24 Ultra from iPhone after using them for 17 years straight. The rounded corner slabs have become boring. I've been far more "excited" over S24 Ultra than any of the last 4-5 iPhones I've owned? It feels like MY phone, not an iPhone I've "rented" from Apple until they release a new one. The customization options are insanely granular, allowing users to customize just about anything within Android. The beauty is that customization is purely optional and by no means required. I was blown away by the options to customize the keyboard alone. My only regret is not switching earlier. 🤦
Wow! been a while since I was actually stunned with the exterior design of a smartphone How can you not be in love with the Snowfall version??

3.5 mm audio jack is a good move.
I absolutely love the microscope view of the under-screen camera. Seeing the tiny individual LEDs next to the already tiny camera gives you a good perspective on how insane the engineering and manufacturing of those screens must be, even more so if you keep in mind that all of them are individually addressable.

The selfi camera is awful but the main camera and wide camera can beat out the iPhone 15 pro max - I went to a apple store with my redmagic 9 pro+ and even the staff agreed that the photo on my phone looked better especially on the ultra wide camera. And the selfi camera sucks since it is literally under a screen
The cooling fan definitely works when you have playing for long hours, my phone usually gets super hot when playing for one hour or more, i think this will be definitely easier to play with!
That perfect block shape they have is the feature I didn't know I wanted until I saw this. Kudos for Redmagic for continuing to innovate despite the other phone companies becoming more risk-averse when it comes to developments like this.
Really appreciate the effort you put into these unboxing and teardown videos, JerryRig! Your detailed commentary and step-by-step process makes it so much easier to understand what's happening. Keep up the good work!

The underscreen camera is not anything new, it appeared years ago. problem is that with higher resolution, the camera image quality significantly drops. Most phone companies couldn't bear with it, cuz normal users still cares about that😂
ive owned many phones. nubia was the wkrst purchase ive ever made, on paper there phones are really good. but the build wuality is so bad that even if you treat this phone like royalty it will naturally stop working within 6 months. within two weeks the headphone jack went. even cheap 20 dollar portable radios from a 2 dollar store doesnt have that issue. it was also the hottest ohone ive ever owned despite having a crazy cooling system rather ironically
Holy crap that phone definitely does look futuristic. As someone who works with phones and is an avid tech nerd looking for new cool stuff. I legitimately might save up just to get one because of things like game pass you can even play some console quality games on your phone. So if Jerry’s glowing review about the quality of the phone. You know it’s DAMN GOOD cause he doesn’t hold back. He will happily snap a $1,000+ phone in half and can quite easily do it if he really wanted to. lol

This is the first time I have been genuinely excited to see a new phone be released. Every other time it's just the same phone with 1 or 2 very minor changes, but this just seems to do everything right! Also, seeing you scrape and scratch the phone crushed my soul, but I'm very happy to actually see how well it handles damage.
It's nice to see what was originally a niche product - a gaming focused device with most other features taking a back seat - becoming more well rounded and incorporating a few features the big players are still shying away from.
Thanks for the thorough review!!
