Great review! Seeing whats happening with the Pixel 2 XL display, I'm really considering the Mate 10 Pro, can get it with T-Mobile for 660€ (also the V30 for the same price), a big discount compared to the 2XL, and Huawei has a premium service and 3 years warranty here in the Netherlands, while if I buy the 2XL I'll need to deal with Saturn or Google in Germany.

Arami Yemane alleen icm T-mobile abonnement, 1 jaar abo en je betaalt 660, 2 jaar betaal je 630, zowel voor de mate als de V30.

Great review! Do you know if you can remove the "HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro NEW LEICA DUAL CAMERA" watermark I've seen on sample photos in a lot of reviews like yours as well (minute @6:42 for example)?? I'm currently an Apple user but I'm considering switching over to Android, and I have no idea how cameras on Android phones operate and how customizable they are..

S8 has a best mic for recordings, however, mate 10 pro has the best cam...

Pre production, Ok ... but how much improvement might be expected when the software has been finalized? I would have thought that some estimate could have been guessed by now.

Greg Zeng on the p10 low light improved alot. Noise reduction improved by i would say 50percent. Day light pics are already very Good, will probably just see some small improvements in combination with AI Chip.

not that good as on iphone 8 plus. But waiting for final software. I think software matters here alot.

Low light is a mess with the Mate 10 pro. Ich went to my local electronics store, took a Mate 10 pro, set the ISO to 100 and took a sample image. Noise, noise, noise!

lol many reviewers have mentioned it's streets ahead when it comes to battery life, doesn't matter what he used it's better than the Note 8 too. All the videos done right now are with pre-release software, not retail software but even then it can easily match/better other top flagships.

Dude, the mare 10 it really has a bad, but really bad camera. Believe me. I have one. S8 is way better than mate 10 even with only 12 megapixels.

Why do manufacturers even waste time on the whole fake bokeh thing? Why can't they just spend the time to make a good basic camera, and leave the excellent bokeh to serious cameras?

Unimpressed. Looks like an ordinary camera.
