cubarsi made it so araujo doesn't have to cover the entire back line, what made him make too many rushed meters, injury and out of position... which then kounde ran into... i think cubarsi freed kounde and araujo to stay in their lanes.

The nature of Pedri's injury is such that he will continue to suffer same injury because he had a weak body, he needs to take 1 year off and work on his body then he'll be most likely injury free. And he's still young so it won't make him lose much time.

I don’t know about taking a whole year off, but he should really take this whole summer (which could be about 3 months for him) to recover and work on his body. Just skip the Euros. He’ll have more chances in the future if he’s able to stay fit

RL9 leads in goals and assists in game in Spain. The fact is that Christensen has been the key now everyone can move up the field more because there is security. Oriol Romeu killed our game he couldn't be trusted in that position. We should only field players who are fit not their names- players coming immediately from injury take a number of games before they can help us - De Jong, Pedri etc are examples. Good discussion Dan. Barca dont play better in absence of Pedri but they definitely play better without Frenkie. Frenkie’s unnecessary ball hogging and not really identifying when to slow or quicken the tempo are massive detriments

Easily one of your best guests, actually good knowledge about fotball. For young players like pedri, lamin etc i think the NBA formula will probably be what they will go through Because they enter a leauge as young boys and the physical difference is so big. So first year - good start followed by injury Second year - builds up their body, injury Third year - learns how to use the new adapted body. We had the same progress with neymar minus the extended injuries, his former club even said we destroyed him by making him put on muscles. Normally in fotball that transition happens slowly as players are introduced at higher ages compared to barcelona.

cubarsi natural position is cb i think we would be taking too much of a risk with his development playing him out of position so young. as a cb you receive the ball with everyone in front of you you always have a good idea where people are cdm you have to be much more aware and can’t take the defensive risk cubarsi naturally likes to take

Oh, sameeeee. He did okay but he still rambles on which I generally enjoy, but when it's Purist, I really wish he would have more straightforward questions or points and not formulate things on the spot. Gives Purist a lot more space to talk and direct points to address

Lamine has been more impactful than Cubarsi, cmon man

The team is doing well but lets not get too emotional and start saying things like Xavi stay... He decided to leave. Announced it, so even if we win the league/UCL, we cant afford to keep gambling next season with Xavi's tactics
