Perfect explanation. Calm, reasonable, effective. That’s how you earn respect, that’s how you make a player. Well done.

Appreciate you sir, thank you for the support!
The way the kid said yes sir at the end shows the respect he had for this coach and when you have that kind of humility your going places

That was my first thought. People that show respect get respect… 15 or 50 doesn’t matter.
Kids that are willing to be coached like this can make it a lot further in life. Keep it up

This is actually the best piece of advice I ever got when I played high school football.

That's how you teach. That's how you learn. One comes from knowledge and experience, the other is pure attitude. That 'yes sir' tells you everything you need to know about that kid. Great job mom and dad!!
Your an amazing coach 🔥💪😊

That’s a good looking doggo in the back
Oh my god thank you so much I’m a wr and I could never get off the ball fast enough
how i wish you can be my teacher and my mentor
I remember during practice if anyone made a false step the whole team had to do 10 Up Downs for each one. I’m pretty sure we did more than 200 Up Downs that day.
He didnt say you couldn't take choppy, he pointed out that he needed to explode on the first step. Great coach

Is anyone watching that wolf in the background. I bet if they turn him loose he’ll take a faster step off
My lil brother used to run choppy like that and it would drive my dad and I nuts. We constantly tell him pick up your damn feet and run like hell. He finally figured it out then started getting to his targets and became a tackling monster
I was taught to take the first step with the lead foot. It's how I counted all my routes off of that lead step.
the guy that sells window cleaning is a football coach
Someone walking a Siberian tiger in the background? That’s a big ass dog!!
I just tried that and it helped so much🎉

Appreciate you man! Really glad this could give you some value
See this is how you coach. I wasn't in football but my basketball coach would tell us stuff but never explain why. Even if you don't feel you need to if you explain it, the kid is always gonna be more receptive to it

No doubt! Always need to tell the reason why, I appreciate the support sir 🤝
Those choppy steps drive me nuts. When I'm watching a game and a guy is coming up one on one in the open field and he does a half a dozen choppy steps trying to fake out the defender losing all momentum and getting tackled almost every time. Drives me crazy watching it.

Isn’t this the same tool that had a previous video out posing as a QB trainer?
Did anyone notice the coyote in the back
Why is everyone here in these comments acting like this isn’t how 96% of kids are with their coaches lmao. “Yes sir” is not an unordinary response to a coach
Is this the window cleaning guy?
Where was this guy at when I was playing football

The guy who never was
Not that I’m racist but I saw WRs and don’t know why I thought White Receivers.
Ummm yeah great 😮 you can’t teach quickness or speed it can be improved somewhat but either you have it or not and this Kidd’s athleticism can’t give much more , I’m sorry but it’s reality 😅
Seriously ?
I love how you think you know what you’re talking about
“Does that make sense?” “Yes sir” “Now get the fuq off my field” 😂
Lil dude looked goofy running those routes
So Justin Jefferson must do it wrong huh? Lol
Dad?
