Thanks. So many manufacturers of new and modern tents these days tell you not to seam seal or waterproof your tent. It just doesn’t ned it. Big Agnes comes to mind. I think I’ll do mine, just in case?

Thats something I havent done to any of my tents which i should do as we normally do camping from April - October.

Could you do a single coat of each one. Making the tent a summer and winter tent. Would the liquids mix together

Could you use a garden pressure sprayer to do this?

Dave said he's not making any more content for the foreseeable future. Filming and editing KZread was taking too much time away from the family and also he was dealing with a lot of trolls.

Can you use it on an old and leaking canvas tent?

Can you use both together or one after the other?

Mix them both and slather, got it :-D

Is fabsil gold okay on goretex garments ?

Just about got the two coats out of this tin. First coat is way more usage than the second

I have a collection of outdoor inflatables for holidays, and over time, the coating on the nylon fabric comes off. This is an issue, because that coating is what keeps the air inside. If I use this product, will it make my fabric non breathable again?

I don't think so. Tents need to "breathe" and I'm sure that this allows that to continue. I'd check with the manufacturer, but my guess is it isn't the product for you.

I had a similar thought, but what would happen if you mixed them in a tin and applied that? Best of both?

@@DetailingandtheBeast I was thinking of applying the gold first for the better waterproofing then the standard on the second coat for the uv protection. Mixing them first would thin out the uv protection, maybe? I don’t know.

how much did you use for the first coat? did you use near a litre? i just brought the 5 litre tub and then watched this and it looks like you only have the 1 litre tub

About 650ml in first coat. 350ml in second. 👍

I'm taking some time out. Creating videos was taking its toll on me (dealing with the trolls) and family life (spending far too mich time away from them creating and editing). I'm attempting to address the balance.

Both are crap. I bought 4 litres , 2 coats and canvas leaked badly
