Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
It's important to me that I keep my bikes clean. I believe if I look after my bike it will look after me. In this video I run through the process of how I clean my bike after every adventure.

I have one final step Josh. I was told by a dealer to put a squirt of WD into switches and ignition barrel after washing 30 years ago. I have done it with all my bikes and never had to replace them. Good vid 😎👍
I remember being a young lad and the old man was making me clean my bike and I had a sook about it because "it's just gonna get dirty again". Boy did my life flash before my eyes when he heard me say that! Good habit to have a nice clean bike!

Haha. Sure is a good habit to have 👍🏼
Thanks you very much Josh !
Used the Tyre Shine trick today!! Comes up a treat! My T7 is looking like new!
I know that supercheap auto degreaser is cheap but I buy that CT-18 stuff from sca and mix into my own spray bottle. You get more out of it and that stuff is potent!

I do the same i just spray it on and leave it overnight, always comes up mint.
Be carful with some degreasers will discolour your alloys and engine and the tire shine is a silicone based one you can let it soak in for a couple days then use a rag to remove some of the greasy feel it still protects everything well until washed off again 👍🏻
Pretty much same sequence i wash my bikes Josh - but i use my battery leaf blower, good around the electrical connections etc…

Nice mate. Making drying more fun I like it 🤙🏼
Mate I have to say, I saw the title in my notifications and thought, really? 🙄 these self help vids are getting ridiculous. But 1 minute in I clicked the thumbs up. Great video! Maybe Lance should wash his bike more often. He might get to ride it home from some of his trips 🤣 Edit, Double pluggers are worth the extra.....

Cheers Josh great vid mate.
Haha awesome!
I have the same respect for my bike Josh, good on you. I can’t wait to see you do a wheelie on that pink bike hanging in your shed 😂

Hahaha when I learn to wheelie I’ll give it a go 😂
tyre shine on bike tyres makes me very nervous
Do you jokers get Motomuck over the ditch? The stuff is stupidly good, spray on, let it soak, then blast off - barely even need to crack out a brush. It'll smash light grease and grime too, and when rinsed off leaves a bit of a film that prevents stuff sticking again. It really is that good. Not even a paid endorsement...

Uhh probably. But I’m a tight ass 😂 I’ll have to check it out

We sure do get Motomuck and it is mint. Pricey but all you need to do is spray it on, wait a bit then pressure wash off!
Handy tips Josh, thanks. Are you running a DRZ front guard or is it a RMZ version?

Thanks mate. It's an RM 250/450 fender
Hello Josh ! is the front mudguard on your bike an rmz 450? what year ?
@_JoshJB_

@@drz4007 hey mate It’s an RM 125/250 fender. 01-08. The holes line up perfectly, you just need a couple of spacers on the back 2 holes to help it clear the frame. I have seen people make the rmz fenders work but I believe you have to drill new holes.
Hey Josh..can you tell me the model of your gps and the other garmin device (orange walky talky like thing )which you used on cape york and other adventure rides.
I like to hit it with a leaf blower before hand drying

Good idea!
do we need to put an exhaust plug before spraying water to the bike ??
@_JoshJB_
Ай бұрын
You can. I have one but it was MIA 😂 Just don’t aim the hose directly at it and you’ll be fine
You dont use a pipe plug? Does the tyre shine affect grip levels of your rubber and your seat?
@_JoshJB_
Ай бұрын
I normally do, it’ll be in the garage somewhere but I just keep the hose away from the exhaust if it’s not in there. I don’t spray it on the seat or the hand grips. It would make the seat slippery if I did.
Another tip never clean your bike in direct sun light 😉

It’s definitely better in the shade. I just don’t usually want to wait 😂
