Hi .. This video was very helpful to me. I don't have the same table loom but at least now I know how to start. Do you have another video demonstrating the weaving process? I was also wondering if the table runner you displayed was made of yarn or fabric strips.. And can you use fabric strips for the warp with a sturdy cotton yarn

Nan Borton I'm sorry I don't have a video with weaving yet. The table runner displayed was made using fabric strips on a cotton crochet thread warp.

@@bethshibleyquilts : I have a 24" Kromski Harp Rigid Heddle Loom, yet I would love to be able to afford a table loom. Current cost for an Ashford 24" 8 shaft Table Loom is $945. I had also given thought to a Saori Loom, however the current cost ranges between $1,400- $1,700. So at this point I can just dream (LOL).

@@HJKelley47 My loom does not have all those shafts. It is a very simple/basic loom..and...more affordable. :)

@@bethshibleyquilts : Yes the Rigid Heddle is more basic than either a 8 shaft table loom or a floor loom. I will admit that even a 4 shaft will allow us to do some very interesting designs. I am looking forward to making some denim rugs on my loom as soon as my 5 dpi heddle arrives. I have often wondered about double weaving on my loom, which would give me twice the width of the loom. Have you experienced double weaving on your Ashford?

It’s a rigid heddle loom, not table loom.

Nancy: Yep it is an Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom! Though I own a 24" Kromski Harp, the 32" Ashford looks nice.
