The Wall Spin is one of the first wall flips we will want to learn in freerunning. The wall spin is a unique cool looking wall flip that is very similar to the palm spin except you are performing the wall spin on a vertical wall opposed to a horizontal ledge in the palm spin.
We recommend learning your palm spin first then moving to your wall spin next.
You can check out our palm spin tutorial here: • HOW TO PALM SPIN - HOW...
This is a very detailed tutorial that goes step by step over the technique, gradual progression steps, and exercises for the wall spin.
As always train safe and see you in the next video!

Just what I needed. As I don't do freerunning to impress people but mostly parkour to overcome obstacles I want to do this instead of a tic-tac on a wall etc. Can you add a video on how to use a wall spin to overcome such an obstacle?

I learnt using a table up against the wall slowly raising it more vert then take it away also found if you chuck your body into the spin before hitting the wall it helps with the spin this move needs a mix off guts and skill learnt it by myself

cool! so in order not to crash into the tree with the chest but hold the weight and turn you have to know the handstand - at least by means of vertically holding your weight up or not? if u dont make this "pushup" move you get your chest into the wall/tree and thus the knees not around the pivot-center and thus drop like a pankacke that was trown out of the pan :-) or not?
