Currently scs900 software doesn't support the r10-2, with this would it allow you to search and connect using r12 option?

I believe you would would keep the R10-2 driver. Don’t think it will work with the R12 driver

You would be upgrading to Propoint firmware and this gives you better accuracies in the trees.

Yes it’s tied to your receivers serial number.

Rovert, after upgrade R10-2 into R12, will I need change controller into TSC5 or TSC7 to have tilt IMU options availiable? or will work on TSC3? Thank you for the video!

R12i does not work with the TSC3

@@SurveyingWithRobert Yes, correct. Only R12 can with TSC3, R12i must be TSC5 or TSC7.

Ive been trying to update the firmware on my R10-2 and i cant get it to connect to the Installation Manager. Ive seen in another video that when you select the "connect" button at the bottom another screen will pop up asking what port you want to read from and it gives an option to read from a USB but i dont get that, my pop-up screen only gives the option to read from COM1. Any thoughts?

I found the solution to this in case anyone else is having this problem. I checked for any windows updates and i had one, i installed it, restarted the computer, re-launched trimble installation manager and all of a sudden there was the option to read the device from USB. I hope this helps.

When you plug in the cable that came with the R10 it should load the com. Go to device manager and see what com port the cable is using.

Maybe you can give me a quote, and maybe not. We’re looking at used equipment to save money.....any S series gun as long as it has Active track. As well as a TSC7 with a R8 or R10. If you could send me quotes on these let me know in the comment section below with an email address I can contact you at. We broke the million dollar mark last year thanks to Trimble.

Listen only. A dealer will have to program transmit frequencies. Does sound like a good video.

@@doguicuba2855 it has no problem, the current option still remains like NMEA out. The other benefits after the upgrade are you will receive triple frequency. Please ask your dealer for P/N R8S-UPG-001-64.
