@@kenmecall please enlighten me because I remember trying PayPal as well. I heard something changed recently, legally… whereby people were using these apps to avoid paying taxes? So I think this is why nothing works because it seems to have been a recent change within 6months to a year. Thanks for chiming in tho!

Hi there! Thanks so much for this. Why can’t I just upload the gift card into Venmo and then send it to my PayPal and then send it back to Venmo versus having two accounts in the same cash app? Thank you!

Good questions! Because you’re not able to transfer funds directly between the two services, even though Venmo is owned by PayPal 🤔

Vanilla gift cards are limited now because you can't add the zip code on the website or phone. So which gift cards would you recommend to work with the platforms you mentioned?

A lot of ppl seem to have trouble when trying to transfer from a Vanilla card. I would say avoid the Vanilla card and go with any other gift card

Its not just vanilla that's not working. It's the debit visa cards aswell.. it says my card is activated but when I try to buy literally ANYTHING online it won't work

Worked perfectly did the PayPal version just made two accounts thank you!!

Old theory would call for a replacement card and the shipping addy with zip is now attached. Does the walmart money order trick still work?

I’ve found it to work mostly with PayPal

I tried with visa gift card and Venmo let’s me add (I was able to add 5) but then I tried to use it send to a friend and says declined. I called visa and it says the balance is still there so not sure why?!
