For Virtual Visa Cards(doesn't have to be a physical card) you can deposit it into your account in the same day by first making a Square account and adding that Virtual Visa Card to Square then use the Virtual Terminal section to deposit that card to where you want. Including the fees. So ask for a Virtual Visa Card instead of a Visa Gift Card if you need it even within the hour.

I have a virtual gift card but my dumbass selected Mastercard lol. Will this still work with master card? I don’t have a bank account at the moment but I have CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal. Any info would be helpful. I used to sell my physical visa gift cards at a cash store and always had to swipe. I’ll call tomorrow and see if they can do it with all the card info without the physical card.

This worked perfectly! Thank you. There is also opportunity cost to consider. If I have a credit card that I would usually use which gives me 2 or 3 percent cash back, the real cost of cashing out the card could be as little as 0.5-1.5% or less. Also the interest one could be earning on the cashed out amount could far outweighed the fee.

I 100% agree! Too many people focus on paying the small fee that they don't think it's worth it, but I completely agree with your logic! Plus I tend to get the "money burning a hole in my pocket" feeling with a visa giftcard with money on it or I misplace it around the house.

I just attempted this and it said "We are sorry, but we could not complete this payment, because it was been denied by the card issuer. Please retry with a different card or funding option to continue with the payment"

Try to register your card on the visa website

It didn't work for me 😔 mines a visa Gift card (silver card) and PayPal asked for an address /zip code linked to the card. Which I don't know .

The back of your gift card has a url. That's the page online where you actually register your card. Just add your information and save it. Then that will be the information you are going to use when they ask you for the address address.

Just buy a money order using the pin provided it costs 88 cents or a $1 per money order depending on the location of the Grocery store. So if the amount on the card is $50 ask for a money order in the amount of $49.12 or $49 then swipe your unregistered card enter your pin and deposit your money order in your bank account. The money order will clear in two days just like a check. Most stores have a limit of $500 or $1000 per money order. Its much cheaper than Paypal taking 3% plus 30 cents per transaction. Also for some unknown reason you can't buy money orders with mastercard gift cards so don't bother.

Saved me from trying to glue a vanilla card that mysteriously snapped in half. Thanks!!

I was also wondering about the 2 accounts part but you can’t link Xbox cards or anything like that, their is a app that allows you the exchange gift cards for other ones tho. Highly subset doing that if you have a spare Xbox or google play store card.

Was this patch? I tried this with my MasterCard gift card and it shows as debit card and says denied by card issuer when I try to send money?

Just add your card to your existing paypal account. Then click on the option on PayPal account to send money. It will take you to XOOM, ITS NEW ON PAYPAL,FASTER., Then you follow the prompts. I just did mine today. I had 250.00 VIRTUAL visa debit card. I put it on my PayPal wallet. Then after that I clicked on send money. It took me to next page,XOOM, I followed instructions and sent it to my debit card that's linked to my checking account. It asked for my debit card number and expiration date. It cost 5.00 to send 245.00 to my debit card/checking. The lower the amount sent ,the lesser the fee. I got my money in 1 minute. So easy. I was surprised

Both accounts don’t have to be in your name. You could have a friend help you out and add the debt card to their account to send to you

Are you trying to make purchases online? If so you may need to go to the vanilla site to register a zip code to your card

Look on the back of your gift card. It should have a web page url. Like, giftcardMall.com or mygiftcardmall.com or something like that. If you go to that website you can register your card with your information. Then you will have a valid address.

No you wouldn't be able to get cash from it with going to the store, but of course you can spend the gift card at the store to make purchases .

This doesnt work with visa online gift cards yet. They do not allow any ACH

You use to be able to click "pay as guest" after requesting the money via email. I'm skeptical about making another acct + adding the card

If you can add your gift card to Venmo still, then should charge less fees than Paypal

Привет а может быть знаешь как можно сделать вот так? Paying with a not-present Gift Card забыл я дома гифт визу карту, а товар взял , а номер карты и экспирацию помню могу ли я оплатить покупки - НЕ имея на руках физически- гифт карту ( ванилу гифт карту , к примеру) спасибо заранее
