    My body doesn't communicate its needs very well, so often I can't tell when I'm hungry or full. So what I eat, when I eat, how much I eat, it's just an estimate of what I need because I'm missing an important part of the data

    for me, I'll eat healthy food but even if I'm full afterwards, I'll still eat the cupcake by telling myself that there is always room for dessert. I genuinely don't understand how people can just resist ice cream or cupcake etc.

    I personally don't like eating sugar very often because I prefer salty food so maybe that's one of the reasons you see people "resisting" eating sugary foods? I just stopped eating a lot of sugar and only drank water when I was a kid because 1. Everyone loved those foods and I had a "I have to be unique and different" complex so I ate salty/sour things 2. I've been diabetic since childhood so I tried not to eat so much sugar to avoid high blood glucose lvls and 3. I've always loved eating healthy because I felt good afterwards, so maybe some of the people you see "resisting" cupcakes and cookies just have habits or prefer healthy or saltier foods.

    out of sight out of mind I've also found eating smaller bites/with smaller utensils works well, and I like to make a little more than one serving, eat half and eat the other a few hours later! :D

    My food hack has been eating high protein and high fiber foods that keep me full longer, chewing slowly, and researching all the health benefits to sleep, muscles, skin, joints, hair, overall health gained from moderate exercise and eating mostly natural whole foods and limiting processed junk foods to special occasions like parties.

    Jar of peanuts. Ever just down a handful? Hahaha I did it. Kept doing it. And then realized I’m eating way to many. And then I realized again that when you eat peanuts in shells which is awesome. You eat one or two at a time etc.. blew my own mind one day 😂😂

    For me the best things that works: 1: Get anxiety about getting more health issues. 2: Notice improvements to existing health issues: I figured out that if I consume no caffeine whatsoever (I actually haven't had coffee or soda in over 4 years), try to keep my diet low sodium, and aim for 2-4 cups of vegetables of day, even if I can't always keep the diet perfectly it reduced my tinnitus I've had for many years to almost nothing. And I've also successfully brought my cholesterol down from a little high to a normal level without scary meds. I very rarely get gross pimples, whiteheads, blackheads, etc from acne, also, that you can get all the time from eating fast food. 3: Also, for some people exercise is additive. The hard part is initially getting the habit started but for some it becomes easier to do once a person gets used to doing it. 4: Learning to cook helps. Roasting veggies in olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, in the oven is a easy way that works with carrots, onions, peas, broccoli, carrots, asparagus, and cauliflower.

    The issue is I am always completely stressed, if I'm stressed, I eat. When I go look at the fridge full of healthy food, I skip over it as if it was empty.

    For me, a heavy plate settles me down, don't need much food on it. A light plate I want to make heavier by loading it up with food. Different strokes for different folks.

    For me it's sheer greed. I'll eat the healthy stuff but I never feel satisfied on it alone. I love sugar as well. I wish I could be someone who eats 3 small meals and never wants to devour a chocolate bar. It's the nice feeling you get while eating it that makes you want more.

    My mom wants me to eat too, but I had an eating disorder last year so she might be scared that I might fall into the same problem again. Quarantine has made me gain 34 pounds and I really just want to lose them, but it's so hard and it hasn't gotten any better. No way!! Whatever its just water weight so OMG that means i didn't gain any actual weight!! I'll try to diet again today. First few hours doing great 😁🥑🥦🧄🍌🥚...2 hours later sister comes in with 🍰🍰🍩🍩🍦🍦🍟🍕..... I go bunkers bc it was so tempting. End of the story is: I binge eat again!! 🤬🤬😡😤😭. So moral of my story? Is that dont get tempted by food like me and stop telling yourself " ill just start the diet tomorrow, I promise!! But guess what I didnt stick to my plans n diet but I also gained more weight fromexcessive eating becauseI thought I wouldn't get to eat the food I loved and missed so my binge eating sessions made me happy! But after you realized how much you ruined yourself, you feel guilty and since I'm not the type to puke after eating, I feel even more shamed that I ate so much even though I felt full, I could not stop. But you need to stop and start to love and motivate yourself that if you want that body, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

    See there's one problem... I will still buy unhealthy and tasty food and I will eat it until it's gone, not until I should stop. I mean, at least I'm vegan that has helped a lot (just being healthier).

    unfortunately people don't harvest their own foods so not buying things they don't know are bad for them is difficult :(

    Sadly people on fixed incomes don't have that luxury because healthier food that's fresh often goes bad before people can eat it!

    Well u don't have to be healthy u only live once imagine eating vegetables ur whole life to know u died eat the burgers u want just know ur enjoying life

    Ryan🔥 Yeah, eating too little can be fatal. You won't get as much nutrients and you will be hungrier.
