I love your videos I'm so glad it popped in right now it's 5:45 p.m. in Washington State. I was feeling down you always have something good to say. you make me want to keep eating right and keep going. I used to eat so perfectly and then I got sick and had no help. Still don't have help but I'm trying much harder even though it's extremely hard just to stand up right now to eat right and you are my motivation and that's tough to motivate me so thank you so much for your videos they mean a lot!💚🌱🌿🍃🍉🍅🍒

Great information as always, John! Love how thorough your videos are. This one is really helpful for me because I have terrible autoimmune reactions to raw vegetables, but green powders seem to work great for me. I might also try some of the mushroom powders you mentioned. It seems like dehydrated foods might be quite different than cooked foods, even if they are dehydrated at hotter than raw temperatures. Cooked food on its own makes me feel depressed, but the powders I use seem to have more of a detoxifying effect. I definitely want to stay as close to raw as possible while still meeting my nutrient needs, and it seems like these are the best you can get. Really awesome!

There is a big push to eat raw, sprouted chick peas (as opposed to sprouting and cooking). What are your thoughts about eating raw, sprouted chick peas John? Also, I'm concerned about using any product made from palm due to the decimation of the rain forests . . . what's the story of the SugaVida (couldn't find much info)? Thanks so much for your abundant research, links to products, and knowledge!

Jah and Jahnes love. For me, as a Nyabinghi Rastafari, Jah is His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I who is Emperor of Ethiopia since November 1, 1930. He led the way to Ethiopia's evolution into a free society for all of her citizenries. There is also the fact that he descended from Emperor Menelik I who was the son of Queen Candace of Sheba and King Solomon of Jerusalem. Blessed love.

I agree with all of Marie's description. I would add in order to help clarify for you.. To me, Jah means God or God spirit. As Rastafari, we believe in the Spiritual Divinity of Haile Selassie to one extent or another. To me, he was completely filled with God Spirit, came to earth to usher in a new age, save the world, and inspire a new faith. Being Rastafari leads me to the highest spiritual version of myself, and motivates me to live a spiritual life. Thank you for inquiring. Peace to you.

I really come to enjoy your videos recently discovering you because if being an advocate raw naturalist is it the healthiest thing for you then you have to add other things to supplement your diet and be intuitive and you seem to listen to your body a lot that's why you look a lot healthier than it most raw eaters... I don't feel that your food source should define who You are you define who You are...so many people introduce themselves by the food that they eat like it's their religion so I respect you being a public figure in the community and addressing some deficiencies that need to be replaced.

I thought the reason ppl choose raw is for the nutrients, so if the odd food is cooked/processed for safety etc but the nutrient profile is still great, it shouldnt matter. You mentioning frozen bananas gave me and idea, if heating to a certain temp is bad, wouldnt freezing also be bad, breaking cell walls, deactivating enzymes, etc.

I live in brazil, and Baru nuts are awsome, but as I know, cracking/extracting baru nuts without roasting it is REALLY hard. Some are more roasted than others, just shell them and look the color inside. As for raw food, I do eat cooked food, which is about 30% of what I eat, some foods I grow can't be eaten raw anyway, Mostly tubers, nuts, mushrooms and such. As a brazilian, I never heard or saw jungle peanuts! Are they a different species ? I can't find seeds around here.

Hi from the Uk I just got a tribest vertical and cut out milk After drinking the stuff for maybe 60 years I must say how nice all the food items seem to taste now everything I eat seems to be somehow tastier Now I am a teach what you know and learn what you don't sort of guy,Itook a coconut outside yesterday and tapped it on the floor turning it as did this and after 7 times the sound it made started to change and then a piece of shell fell off and the rest of the shell pulled off in pieces so I was left with a shelll less ball of coconut meat and if I had left the water in it would have probably not leaked out so my next coconut I am just going to try my method again with the water in plus I don't bother cutting stuff up like a carrot gets cut once in half and a celery the same as long as it's fresh and has not got stringy with time the tribest seems to,handle it well I just let it feed in itself ,the wife went spare after seeing the mess and the extra bags of waste until she tried the juice now she loves it ,I have bought another strainer with a bigger gauge and run an orange through it for me and an orange through it and then through the finer strainer for the wife in fact everything first goes through that course strainer then the finer one ,only two accidents so far I left the rubber bung out the one under the bowl and I somehow left the auger out yesterday' ,finally I bought some almond milk it's about 2% almond then made my own which is far better well it would be comparing to a ratio as low as that ,keep the videos coming regards Paul in the Uk

Artichoke hearts from Trader Joes contains citric acid which can be irritating to the lining of the stomach. So, if you are sensitive in any way or have digestive issues, you may want to skip nutritional yeast.

John, thank you so much for all this great info! I'm glad I don't have to be so obsessed with being 100% raw! I have no affiliation with this powder I'm about to recommend; it's just helped me tremendously and it's raw. It's an amazing green powder that's wildcrafted, dried without heat, and powdered without any additives by Markus Rothkranz. I eat a my "raw" version of a nutritarian diet. Including the cooked (and fermented) beans that I talk about in this episode, as well as mushroom powders that are heat processed. Soon I will have a tempeh maker and will make many different types of bean tempehs that are unpasturized.

Ive read that roasting can help remove some phytic acid....wouldn't that be a good thing so that the nuts can be absorbed easier? although I am sure many other nutrients are destroyed in roasting.

Following Dr Sebi's nutritional guide was the best advice. Your stuff doesn't stink, your urine is almost clear, and your saliva is very clear like that of a babies. When I eat foods outside the list and notice a returning signs of symptoms contrary to only the few I've just listed, I know I do not have long term plans with that food. I appreciate your channel a lot John. I just wonder experts ignore a man who has been curing cancer, aids, ailments and disease for real, not in theoy, since the 80's. RIP he was murdered in a Mexican prison last summer. He was a very brave man. Died at 84 years old. And he was still producing children.
