    Hey Magnus, do you have any tips against nausea during and after workouts? I always suffer from feeling sick to my stomach or even vomiting from excersise which makes me really nervous doing any kind of workout. I already tried switching workout times to midday or evenings, not eating anything before, eating before, eating after workouts and I can't figure out what the problem is. What is my body trying to tell me?

    Hey, are you getting enough sleep? My BF used to have the same problem and it’s a lot better when he gets enough sleep. Also he drinks less water during the actual workout. I used to get that as well, but for me it was better when I took a bigger break between sets (especially during HIIT or cardio). Hope it helps 🤗

    What are good carbs to have?

  • @ProtoMarcus

    @ProtoMarcus

    2 жыл бұрын

    - Avoid _''white''_ processed carbs - white bread, pasta, rice, anything processed or ultra processed - Never drink your (carb-based) calories. That means, never drink anything with carbs. - Best carbs are *_slow_* carbs - those carbs often contain lots of fiber and have a mix of low glycemic index _(no sudden blood glucose spike)_ and lower net carb content than processed foods or ''quick'' carbs Some slow carbs include: - Whole Grain products - Legumes, pulses - Beans, lentils - Certain fruits _(most have quick carbs though)_ - Certain vegetables - Sweet Potatoes - Quinoa - Nuts and nut butters _(nuts or already pretty low in carbs, but they aren't carb free. They have excellent fats and proteins)_

    It's great to see these muscle building vids, but I'd love to see you work with some people with more body fat on them.. I'd like to see what a diet/workout routine would look like for someone whose primary goal is fat loss, and muscle gain is secondary, because I suspect it would look pretty different

    Wow. This beautiful lanky woman started at 33% body fat which is technically the definition of obese in her age category? Then only went down to 27% body fat? It goes to show standards can be deceptive. She is the true definition of "skinny fat", but it fit! I'm not an expert, but is this because she is an ectomorph body type; thin and low muscle, who also has a harder time to gain muscle? So interesting. When I was 18% body fat I was not as thin as her. No wonder I am so strong. I am stonger than the average man even. I have a larger long frame and a lot of muscle for a woman. It was a very inspiring video for me, and made me less hard on myself. I love these different real life stories and results. Very motivational across the spectrum.

    Not quite - - Eggs consistently raise HDL (the “good”) cholesterol. - In 70% of people, eggs had no effect on total or “bad” LDL cholesterol. However, in 30% of people - called hyper-responders - these markers do go up slightly - People who have predominantly large LDL particles have a lower risk of heart disease. So even if eggs cause mild increases in total and LDL cholesterol levels, it’s not a cause for concern - Eggs are among the most nutritious foods on the planet. They contain important brain nutrients and powerful antioxidants that protect your eyes. - Overall, eating eggs is perfectly safe, even if you’re eating up to 3 whole eggs per day. That said, it is important to remember that not all eggs are the same. Most eggs at the supermarket come from factory-raised chickens fed grain-based feeds, so aim for Omega-3 enriched ones, or eggs from hens that are raised on pastures. Quality eggs are among the best foods on the planet!
