A lot of people say that she was too skinny in the movie. Personally I think she looked great. She wasn't super buff, but there are some shots in the movie where you can definitely see that she trained hard and gained a lot of muscle mass. Like when she breaks a gun with her back during the fight in the village, she flexes her arm and it's fucking RIPPED (her biceps in general are very well-defined, which I noticed in many scenes throughout the movie). So is her back when she reaches for her sword during the gala. She looked fit, strong and did a great job with the physical stuff. And her acting was amazing as well.

It's definitely a matter of personal opinion. She looked perfect to me and it was obvious that she had put in tons of work in preparation for the role. But I totally respect the fact that some people would've preferred an actress with a different body type, even though I don't necessarily agree with it. As long as we're all respectful to each other and don't start spewing hate, it's all good, right?

People who don't know Wonder Woman will say Gadot is "too skinny" while Wonder Woman herself is never that muscular or bulky in the comics or animated series. Even Lynda Carter wasn't muscular in the TV series. This is Wonder Woman, not She-Hulk.

The Golden age Wonder Woman certainly was not skinny. And that came out before the 70s TV show. So Lynda Carter was also too skinny for the role. Gal Gadot IS too thin. Even after she supposedly gained muscle for the Wonder Woman role. She is a "skinny weak-looking woman". She's tall but not muscular. The only thing that she has going for her physically, is height. Google "veve lane biceps" then click "images". That is how a live action Wonder Woman should look. "Latorya Watts" is another good example. In the comic books "Wonder Woman: Down to Earth" and "Wonder Woman: The Hiketeia" she looked more toned and muscular than Gadot. When men play Superhero characters they are expected to look muscular for the roles. Even in cases where the character was not trained to be a warrior(like with Superman). Yet Maggie Q, Charlize Theron, Karen Fukuhara and Gal Gadot can look skinny yet still play warrior characters? Ridiculous.

She's a non-human god/godkiller. Strength is not measured by muscle mass. Batman is bulky because he is human. Superman is bulky because he was written that way by his creators as the ideal more than the average man. Captain America was a scrawny kid who was drugged up by Stark Industries and got buff. Superheroes are written/drawn to be our ideals after Roman/Greek archetypes. But the comic book characters who are overweight are written as pompous, controlling, or use their size as a power to overwhelm, i.e., Blob, Kingpin, Penguin... But I bet people criticizing muscle mass on a woman seem to have a problem with strong women. Just Saiyan.

She's unique. Her sense of humor is very alluring. She conveys the absurdity of life constantly, but not in a jaded way - more like "how lucky it is to experience this absurd moment and the next", then brings you in with her! That's an amazing quality to have. She's got more charisma in her brow alone than most. Expect she'll go far, if she wants to.

never mind the individual's seriously pretty, i see someone really dedicated to their work, i see heart here, as they say in boxing. i've done a few sessions in eskrima, those slashes might look easy on video, but if your forearm isn't used to gripping something, let alone hitting that thing against another thing and still be able to keep it in your hand, i know from experience by night you'll have a few spots on your hands with eroded skin, very sore forearm muscles, and waking up next morning wishing a butcher comes along to just chop off your gripping arm and close the wound with a clothes iron. and to keep coming back to that, that's like asking for more pain. people are so used to focusing only on the social perception of things, like how the film supposedly bombed in theaters, they don't notice the hard work invested into it.
