I have the opposite. The bottom of my hair is curly and the strands near my face are practically straight 🥺

Curly hair is so weird like that. My bottom pieces only started turning straight about a year ago :/

@@marissa_lanae I think that's because of the weight of the hair, as the bottom pieces are longer they stretch out more unlike the front ones that are shorter they shrink more when the hair is long but has a good haircut. I have the opposite too, but I really need a good haircut

A good tip is to finger coil the front pieces, it works great for me!

FINALLY FOUND MY HAIR TWIN🥳 my hair gets weighed down easily, the top pieces are ringlets, and the curls under gradually gets looser. i thought this was because of heat damage but I’ve cut it all off and it’s just my natural hair. i’m so happy i came across your video🥺 ALSO, whenever i pineapple my hair at night, my curls get stretched out and they’re not as tight. any tips on that? you got me excited for my wash day lmao

Heyyy hair twin! lol thank you for watching! using an invisibobble hair tie helps sometimes because theres way less tension and I dont get stretch lines like I do with other hair ties. Doesnt stop it from stretching completely but it helps me sometimes!

I have the same thing happen to me but my hair is thin and I don't think I have a lot of it so that could also be why. Defs recommend trying an invisible though

Hi, I had the same problem. I wear a bonnet now (no hair tie underneath) and it really helps!

@@LivyCat28 nah it def a blessing volume wise. .. learn to love ya hair... I used to always want silk hair never even knew my hair was curly cus I always buzzed it. I got super thick hair. If I kept growing my hair out an plumped up on top I can p much grow and Afro.

So glad I found your videos! I am new to this journey and couldn't figure out what my hair was trying to do. It is clumping bigger and wanting to wrap around...now, I see it wants to coil into 3a patterns and I was trying to make them do what I thought was 2c...bc I thought I had 2c hair. I can tell I have some 2c but a lot of 3a. This is so fascinating. I am going to see if I can encourage my hair to go into the pattern it wants a bit better and use a gel vs a mousse and see if that helps a bit as well. I'm so new to all this but it is fun to learn and try to learn my hair at the same time.

I'm glad you popped into my You Tube feed. I subscribed. I also have the same hair type as you. I was the type that grew up thinking that I had straight or wavy hair at least. Little did I know I had wavy to curly hair and I pretty much found out by accident because when your hair is curly, it wants to curl no matter what. So I really did not harness the power of my curls until after high school. That's when I started wearing gel and then mousse. That Paul Mitchell was amazing. Then, as my luck goes, that specific mousse that was so good for my hair, I couldn't find it anymore. Same happened with a line of shampoos and conditioners from V. Secret that was amazing for my hair- discontinued. Since then, I've been searching for the perfect products.

love your hair! to help with frizz i love using the ghost oil from verb. it's so light and smells amazing :) just make sure to wash your hands afterwards and be careful to not touch your face with it!

I think I just found my kind of hair with you 🥺 my hair/curl pattern has been damaged since I’ve bleached it but I’m trying to get back to my natural curl pattern.
