I am just seeing this video and I have a question. When she takes a section of hair to cut, does she point cut?

May I ask why alternate between wet and dry cuts? When to choose which one? I had a failure with wet cut once and I’m thinking about trying dry cut…

Out of curiosity, since you like Briogeo's leave-in conditioner, why did you not use their Texture Spray? Just wanted to add that when I cut my hair short (shorter than a bob plus a buzzed back/bottom), I inadvertently cut off a good chunk of my curls. So now I do brush to incorporate product and get that shine but there's not enough hair to dangle into a curl so I rake my fingers through it and then shake the section to encourage waves. And your sectioning drives home a lesson it took me a while to learn, which is make sure ALL your hair has product, especially if you've thick hair. Thanks for showing it!

For me, it seems just long enough to curl and style (I've found truly short, such as a pixie is harder to curl!) but not so long that it takes forever to dry/style. Pragmatic AND lovely.

Where do you find a stylist that knows how to do a cut like this? Is this good for any hair texture (fine, thick)?

Love the KC custard. My first time trying it last wash and wow, I couldn't beleive the difference and how well my hair loved it. I have same hair as you 2c/3a/3b but my hair is blonde and damaged from coloring and this styling gel is the best I've tried. I pair it with the Knot Today detangler leave in and it works great. I also have to be careful of heavy products. I liked the gel cast I got from KC custard and the volume is more than I usually get even though I should have mad volume since my hair is so thick. I'm still learning how to style for volume. Subbed.

Yes, I can't believe what a difference the Denman brush makes on my 2b/2c hair. Everything else staying the same, it really smooths out the hair and reduces wet frizz. Also, since my hair tends to be dry on top, I break the cast with a little hair oil on my hands.
