Hi Sonal, This is probably my first time commenting on a KZread video. I came across this channel last night and I am amazed by the content here especially the way you break complex topics which have been largely in a Pandora’s box until now. I wish people early in their carriers get to go through the quality counsel you bring. My sincere best wishes and more power to you.

A lot of this is applicable to students as well. Watch my live-streams, I’ve been asked about fresh grads many times. Good luck!
Thankyou Mam for all the videos you create,I have recently faced an issue from an organisation,at the time of interview the organisation saw my cv and asked me that they felt I may change my organisation because the highest working span mentioned in my cv was two years. To this I mentioned them that employees love to work in an organisation where they are valued, grow and learn and derive job satisfaction. Then the interviewer asked me what if you leave our organisation,I made a point to keep things transparent and tell them I would love to learn and see myself grow with this organisation because Iam very passionate towards my work.I also asked them whether there was any target as mentioned in my job role Telemarketing Officer. The HR said me that for 6 months it is going to be learning phase and then the targets would slowly come.I was selected in the organisation. For the first month there was no trainer to train us.From the second month a new team leader was appointed in the organisation, but it was only from the mid of second month,he was asked to turn targets,so he made a target of 90 calls, and a target of 5 converts from these 90 leads,by the third month just when I was learning my work and trying to turn targets,my team manager called me and asked how are you doing your work?I told him I am learning, and then he said if you can not meet targets you might be asked to leave the job,I requested him Sir,it is only from mid of second month I started learning,so it would be a request to you to give me some time to meet my targets, later after 5days the HR asked me that my performance review showed that I was not meeting my targets so I need to resign my job! But what is this, why do these organisations can't tell honestly what they want from employees on the first day or in the first month,we give our time, emotion and energy working towards our goals and eventually get to know something else!! Why is it they can't keep things transparent, why should an employee know an organisation while working,it is not expected to know everything about an organisation in the beginning, but I think few things should have been clear,Ma'am kindly please create a video on how to judge an interviewer whether he/she is honest to her duty or not, because in some organisation there are also policies where the interviewer can not say everything to save her job,but this in the long term is affecting the relationship between both the parties,or create a video how we can judge an organisation and it's people on the first day of interview, before joining it,
It’s really inspiring mam !! Learnt a lot 😊😊

Hey Sonal, I wish I could subscribe and follow your channel since beginning of the streaming. However I believe it is not late as I still can relate to my past interview experiences and make necessary changes when I prepare for next. Many thanks and really appreciate your contend selection and the way you present them. Couple of suggestion: 1. In some of the videos, your voice is much lower and hard to listen some words. It would be really better if you check the audio quality. 2. It would be better if you talk something about changing roles within the company and what all could be the areas to focus apart from the hard skills or domain expertise. Look forward for more videos and contents. Have a wonderful time.

Hi!! I recently have started watching ur videos. I find them very informative and useful. Thanks for your efforts. I have a concern. During my career span of 10+ year, I happened to work with 5 companies. On few of the occasions I changed my company mainly due to better pay and sometimes my company was not doing well,so I had to quit.My question:- Will it put any negative mark on my profile in long run? Can you please advise?

Depends on how you explain it. The messaging. Why you left is as important as number of moves. Showcase that you gravitate towards growth and learning. If every move is about money, it’s a red flag for companies. But pls be honest. Good luck! Glad you find the channel useful.

Be polite and don’t answer anything that makes you uncomfortable. Do what feels right to you. I have a podcast episode with Dorothy Dalton, and one of the things we talk about is how to address bias in questions. Have a listen! podcasts.apple.com/be/podcast/how-i-got-hired/id1536817985?i=1000510206044
