So, my summary is: 1. Be your unique self 2. Think not what the company can do for you, think what you can do for the company 3. Show and Tell, portfolio , souvenirs, medals etc (throw out modesty and humility)

Your videos on "Tell me about yourself", "Why should we hire you" and this one, really boosted my confidence and helped me in getting a job switch. Also I negotiated the salary and joining bonus with better confidence. I also shared these videos to my wife and she also got a new job with good salary and joining bonus. Thank you very much Sonal. Hi, the content is amazing and very informative I really appreciate it sincerely. However, just a recommendation kindly make the filler music in beginning, in between and after the video lower in volume and suitable for the ears. I noticed that music in fillers in the videos is too loud and often times listener get freaked out. The volume when you speak is just perfect, just a recommendation there's just a need for music adjustment on music fillers all through out the video to make it more suitable for ears. Overall I really love your videos just except the loud music. Thank you for sharing your wisdom ❤❤

Hey Sonal, the content is pretty good. I've got a tiny feedback. The intro music seems to be a little louder than the rest of the video.

Now I have a friend who is hr director... Not many of our friends would open up and tell so much.

I don't understand.. Who are these person who dislike this video.. I guess these people just come here hit dislike and go on other's video to dislike other video.. I personally feel really bad. Because these people creating such a great content for us which requires lots of hardwork and efforts. First you understand the topic and gain knowledge. Just don't dislike other's content.

Its amazing and very very useful information. thank you so much. one suggestion i have, instead of bringing something physical, it would be better to push such projects/designs or any content to the open source plantforms like github. and add this as url in the resume. its just my opinion.

Nowdays, I feel that if you're not industry specific, it's a (big) flaw in your resume. I am 40 y.o and have 16 years of experience in Marketing occupying various positions always evolving and taking more responsibilities but in different industry every time. In my opinion it's enriching as I can bring best practices from other industries to the table but how can I stand out / defend my application when recruiters prefer industry specific candidates ?
