This is the first video I see from you. I've tried to paint miniatures in the past and failed miserably, but I think I just didn't know what I was doing. I'm definitely going to try again using your techniques.

I like the idea of clear bases in theory, but whenever I have used them on the tabletop and you factor in sun glare/lights, you can't really see through them that well anyway. They end up sticking out even more than a nicely done scenic base in my opinion.

That's because people suck at integrating the bases into their games. And if the mini is super dynamic, like a leaping pose, you need to add transparent stands and such, if you want transparency.

I don’t like cutting base because in my experience a glue link is too weak for gaming pieces. When Ineed to attach a mini to a new base, I do it with a metal pin which is not possible with thin footed minis especially on transparent bases, but it sure does look better

These videos are so relaxing. Taking a break while slapchopping my zombicide black plague content and watch you slapchop my childhood while I eat. I'd be interested in a liveplay as I have so much nostalgia for this game but would like to see a play through before I invest the money.

@@MiniatureHobbyist I feel that. I keep it to about 90 minutes and keep it fairly silly and use lots of props and stuff. Sometimes the five year old wanders off during rp conversations and such but oh well. He just likes hitting things with his sword.

Hey mate, You brought me back to the hobby and enjoying painting when I saw your slapchop videos and now I paint basically everyday. Getting ready to smash into some Old World (launches late here in Australia). I wondered if you have ever thought about doing a video about how you shoot your videos and the setup you have as I would love to see someone like you go into those details. Keep on cracking on I always look forward to you videos when they come up in my feed.

If these don't work out, you now have the self taining to do mani-pedies, esp when you need cash for the rest of the hobbys! Anyways, the bases I'm getting use to are the fancy G1 through 3 of F.O,W.W. covered in random stuff. Can't do live, but always catch the recap / highlight reel.
