I remember Hero Quest when it first came out, many years ago. I didn't realise people still played it until seeing your content. Keep up the great work

There was a new edition released a year or two ago that revitalized it. I also have fond memories of heroquest as a kid and would love to get into it once my kids are a bit older.

I am a VERY beginner miniature painter (my first time & will be with Heroquest) & I’ve been heavily researching looking at using all army paints speed paints~ I reallyyyyy appreciate it so much how your showing every color you use~ I am preparing to paint the base game & eventually all the expansions so will be looking at all your videos! 🎉

Great video! Love the frosty colors. I've also been enjoying using card artwork as a guide for board games. I like that it forces me to use/mix some colors I may not normally use otherwise!

Yeah exactly, sometimes I have a brain fart when it comes to what colours to use or I tend to use the same ones every time lol 🙂

You got the colours looking very close to the art! I'll definitely refer to this again when I make it to painting this expansion.

Erm I possibly could but even clear resin goes cloudy when cured plus I get these bases for free 🙂

Its gonna take a while but it is now what Im doing with all the HeroQuest miniatures, to me its time well spent 🙂

Would be interested to see you try a "White Primed Model" followed by a "black wash in the recesses" followed by "SpeedPaints" (i.e., no Dry Brushing, just a Black & White Contrast Model).

I want Hero Quest again i had the original but kids did a number on it over the years and i used some parts for warhammer lol so they on like my rhino for sisters of battle for a shrine kind of thing ... cus the Inquistor Lady Queen on world i use minis from her King dude died in battle against their son that turned slaassshie ugh lol good ole chaos any how the shrine on the rhino was from hero quest long ago i still have some cardboard features that are now all 3d printed and no idea where the board is haha so if i ever get anyone i can play with again i want that ... for sure so busy now making d&d maps for our weekly d&d games which i now have one on wed's and one on fri's eeek lol but its all fun one is today at 7 tonight so should be fun little short sessions cus these folks have short term attention span things so no long games there lol anyhow have a great time ... i love watching all the new stuff you do and good references for the future ... hehe

I have tried it but guess I kinda prefer the dry brush look, this is the joy of painting that we are all different and enjoy different processes 🙂
