    Finally stuck 35's on my 2nd gen. Did some minor trimming to the back corners of my front fenders and smashed the pinch welds in and chopped the cab mounts.... but other than that they fit fine. I was concerned the rubbing would begin on trail conditions... but honestly the truck did great (6mt v6 with stock gears even... though when climbing steep or difficult parts I had to drop to 4 low). Regardless... I love how your truck looks and still want to do the fender trim as well as the viper cut to give the front of my tires a bit more clearance to grab on the rocks. Your truck looks amazing. And the modified supports are a huge plus.

    I've had rear flares back on after trimming for 35's in 2018. After about 10,000 miles on the highway I've had zero issues. The rear is also trimmed for a high clearance bumper.

    I'm running the old school Dakar leafpacks and they must have been + spec because I've always had about 4" of lift even after settling. I rarely have heavy weight back there though so I'm sure that helps.

    What’s the plan to secure the rear flares rear attachment point once you throw the HC bumper on? Or you think just the forward one will be good? Did my fronts a few months back and attached them like you, waiting on cutting my rears for my HC in a couple weeks.

  • @Tacomaholic

    @Tacomaholic

    The forward one will be good to at least keep the rear flares from actually detaching, but I've got an idea to redo the rear part as well so it doesn't bounce around.
