    I've watched 5 other KZread videos and many pages worth of nothing, until this video. This video is the best one out that explains exactly how to scan from from printer to PC for Canon. Amazing vid!!!

    Yup! I lucked out, this was the second one I saw. The first one was too complicated. This was on point!!!!

    Love when installation goes smoothly. Then the computer doesn't detect the printer and you can't even install the software you need. Awesome 👍

    I have a Canon 9120 printer/scanner. Is there a Canon and/or 3rd Party utility available that will enable me to scan photo "Negatives"? Thanks

    Hi! Scanning photograph negatives requires the negatives to be lit from behind. The scanners built into Canon PIXMA printers are not equipped to do that. Hope this helps!

    How come there is no part about using the buttons on the printer itself to scan an item into a paper print out?

    I cannot scan. I get a message reading that the scanner is not powered on (it is) and/or "USB cable is not connected. which it is. please help.

    Hi! Yes, every one of our inkjet and laser printers can print text and images from your web browser. Hope this helps!

    I'm using this printer with Mac...When I scan documents with Adobe Acrobat and select both side to scan..it doesn't scan both side

    Hi! We recommend checking your printer's specifications at usa.canon.com to see if it offers duplex scanning which would allow you to scan both sides of a document in a single pass. While some models offer this feature, most Canon printers offer single-sided scanning which requires you to flip the page over and scan it again in order to capture both sides.     Tnx, most helpful. I just installed a G7020 and didn't see anywhere in the hard-copy or online instructions to find and install the scanning utility. (Scanning documentation feels like an afterthought in general, FWIW.) Doing it from Mac Preferences brings up a little pane with roughly no options! This should be better!

    @@CanonUSASupport Thank you (I'm in Canada, but similar protocols). I'm on day two now and still reading and learning and configuring ... it's a bit much. I have the 480 page (!) Online Manual, and now know not to use the printer outdoors in the rain(!). The on-printer menu system - yikes! Still, I can say that the printer's performance itself is so far excellent. And essentially that's what I want. Addendum a few weeks later: wonderful printer. The auto-off function hangs every time until I wake the tiny LCD screen, which just wants to tell me that the server (which is what?) has up-to-date software. Great! Then it sleeps. Little things. The auto-on function works flawlessly. The actual printing/copying/scanning: wonderful. (Can't comment on the fax - not using.)

    Hello, I have the Canon Pixma TS5320 and I am trying to scan multiple (plain paper) documents, using the ADF, with my PC. I am not getting an option to change from "Platen Glass" scan to "ADF" scan, in the Utility Scan menus. Please help 😞

    Hi, Marcelle! As the PIXMA TS5320 isn't equipped with an ADF, that option won't be available. To scan multiple pages, you'll need to manually place each new page on the platen glass. Hope this helps!

    @@CanonUSASupport thank you for your reply. Just want to mention, I have scanned 4x6 glossy photo paper through the feeder at the back of this printer. So, why doesn’t plain letter paper feed through? 🤔

    @@marcellef8302 The rear tray on the PIXMA TS5320 is specifically for holding the blank paper you'll be printing on. As that tray has no connection to the scanner, you'll need to lift the scanner lid and manually place each new page upon the glass for scanning and copying. Glad we could help!
