Explanation and content was cool.
great video; however i have yet to find one that explains how to automatically save an attachment not based on the subject of the email but based on some letters included in the file name itself. and this is actually what i need

I’m looking for how to do that too!
Great Video. I have a requirement to replace the attachment in SharePoint instead copying. Would you have any advice on that?
Amazing video, would it be possible to get the attachment to a specific folder matching the month when it was sent? For instance, an attachment sent in march going to the march folder and an attachment from June to the June folder
Very helpful and thank you for explaining "apply to each" as it appears MSFT forces us/automatically adds these anyway. It appears that various images and signature line items are "attachments' noting I have filed saved that I don't need, along with the attachment file of interest. Is there a way to not use "apply to each" to focus solely on the attachment of interest and not other signature line and image attachments that come from the sender?
Great Video! How would I be able to exclude any image files to upload?
Hi, nice video at all. So, is there any way that mark the email as Read after saving attachment into Sharepoint?
Great demo thanks but the attachment save in sharepoint has been checked out. How to add a check-in step. Your help graciously needed.
For some reason, every file that is uploaded to sharePoint does not have a file time, so I cannot open it. If in the file name, I include ".xlsx" to match the email attachment, it is corrupted when uploaded to SharePoint. Any help?
Hello, your video was very helpful thank you. I have one issue, I used the concat function and it is working, I am now saving two copies of the attachment. One is titled- "attachment Name" and the other is "concat+attachment name". I am unsure why.
Hello, excellent video! Could you help me with something? In the file name field, I concatenated it so that the name is the subject + the sender, like this: concat(triggerOutputs()?['body/subject'], '-', triggerOutputs()?['body/from'], '_') Right after, I also set it to display the original file name at the end. The problem is that the files in the library end up corrupted, and I can't open them. Would you know why this happens? Thank you!
i managed to create a flow and tested it and it worked. and now all files arriving to a specific inbox are saved to a chosen folder. problem is, when i create the flow in power automate, i can't specify which files i want to be saved automatically. so i have a ton of files now. how can i specify that the flow only applies to files that includes certain letters in the file name?
external user send email attachment and upload in sharrpoint through power automate...what should be the flow?..bcz mail sender is outside of my organisation
This was a great demo. Let's say that I am expecting an email with multiple attachments ... however, I would like to upload each attachment to a different sharepoint location depending on the name. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Stephen 👋. Yes indeed, there are few ways to achieve this depending on requirements, but most simply you can use a condition to save files named “X” to a specific location.
Thanks. Do you know how I can run a flow across existing emails rather than new ones coming in . I want to do a clear up of some old email attachments but I can't get it to run across existing emails

Hello and thanks for your question! Will see if I can release a video about this later in week as likely scenario useful for others. First thought would be a manual trigger which when ran would loop through each email within inbox and perform required actions against each email.
Hello is it possible to tell me how to add an extra step that allows the newly uploaded files to be emailed from share point on someone else? Excellent video btw

Thank you! 🙂. So you want to email someone when a new file is added to SharePoint? Email linked below might contain the detail you require? kzread.info/dash/bejne/fGmZpJlvdqybcrA.html
I followed your instructions and test were all green but it didn't create the file in Sharepoint. Waiting 15mins as well. Please advise.
great demo - can you show me how to do this with a shared email inbox please?

What happens when there are two attachments in the same email?

Hey! In this scenario both files would still be saved as we use “Apply to Each” to ensure thay all files attached to the email are saved. Hope that helps?
Files saves but when I try to open it: This workbook couldn't be opened because the file format may not be matching with the file extension.

That’s was quite useful, only thing was not clear in video, if we want to save file with same name daily in share drive n same location, what logic we need to build, it would be great you can guide
