Do you know how to use power automate flow conditions?
In this tutorial we follow on from our previous tutorial in which we create a power automate flow that automatically saves attachments from received emails but now turn our intentions on adding conditions or more specifically including an IF statement to our flow. Conditions give us the ability to react differently to various scenarios.
WHAT IS POWER AUTOMATE?
Power Automate (previously known as Microsoft Flow) is a cloud-based automation platform that allows users to create and automate workflows across a variety of applications and services. It enables users to automate repetitive tasks and processes, such as data transfer and synchronization, email notifications, and approval requests. Power Automate includes a range of connectors that allow users to connect to a wide range of applications and services, including Office 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and other third-party applications. It is a powerful tool that can help users save time, reduce errors, and improve efficiency in their workflows.

Many thanks. Very useful especially for the signature logo which is interpreted as an attachment file, too. Very difficult to find a solution for that..until now. Very good explanation for how to use a condition (e.g. Attachment name xyz.pdf).

This is a great tutorial. I got the file to copy to the sharepoint directory but the resulting file is empty. It's an excel file that says NULL in A1 when I open it.

I have been looking for this exact process…followed it the same 100%, but I create attachments for all files (ex: signatures), not just the one I want. Conditions seem to be irrelevant. Am I missing something?

Thanks very much for this video tutorial. This is very helpful and greatly appreciate your time in sharing your knowledge. I'm a new PA user and quite enjoying my learning path watching video tutorials. Question: Wouldn't it be better or would it make a difference if you put the condition action before the apply to each? In addition, how is using initialize variables play a part? Thanks again for your time and would be awesome to see examples when you have time.

Hi Julius 👋 Would have to refresh my memory on this video as recorded some time ago but generally your condition would come after the apply to each as the flow first needs the item before it can apply a condition to it… hopefully that makes sense?

Microsoft changed the interface for the condition control and I don't know how to use it.

I though this would be a video specifically about the condition control, its labels, and everything about it, not the if yes or if no sections that come after it. Not useful.
