How to Replace 2006 - 2009 Saab 9-5 Xenon Headlight Bulbs - Part 2
In this video, I show you how to re-install your 2006 - 2009 Saab 9-5 headlight assemblies after having replaced the bulbs. Additionally you will learn how to re-install your bumper cover.
This is Part 2 of 2, and includes Headlight Installation, Testing, & Bumper Cover Installation.
Part 1 shows you how Removing the Bumper Cover, Removing the Headlight Assembly, and Replacing the Xenon Bulb.
Here are the bulbs I purchased to have a factory stock look:
- Osram D1S Bulbs (The SAAB 9-5 requires D1S)

Tools you need:
- 8 mm socket
- 10 mm socket
- T25 Torx Socket
- T30 Torx Socket
- Trim tool or hard plastic wedge
- Punch or Phillips-Head Screwdriver
- Flat-Head Screwdriver
- Wrenches
- Extension

This video applies only to the 2006 - 2009 Saab 9-5 with Vision Package or Xenon Headlamps. This is not the process for 1999-2005, or 2006+ with Halogens.

Very helpful video thank you very much it was definitely trying but it is a smooth transition with your video. also for anyone watching please do discard these light bulbs properly they do contain Mercury in them.

I was so apprehensive about removing the headlight modules on my Edna until I viewed your part 1 & 2 videos. On mine, the seal is cracked or something as the inside of the lens is cloudy. I'll remove the lamps and clean the inside then put some silicone around the clear lens/housing. THANK YOU!!!

what about the rubber hose at the bottom of the lamp housing ?. Where to place the hose

Just make sure they are routed downwards through the body and not pinched. They should hang/route downwards as they are drain/ventilation hoses.
