HOW TO:REMOVE SEMI-PERMANENT HAIR COLOR WITH BAKING SODA

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hello beautiful people and welcome back to my channel. So in today's video I'll be trying a NON traditional method to lightening my hair color. As a recent cosmetology school graduate and someone who colors their hair quite often I saw a few other people use this technique and thought I’d give it a try. Before using the mixture on all of your hair, PLEASE do a test strand first to see how your hair responds to the mixture as everyone’s hair is different. I’m not sure how/if this method is effective on permanent hair color. But it definitely removed my professional semi-permanent hair color, so I’ll definitely be adding it to the arsenal.
This tutorial is perfect for anyone who wants to remove temporary or semi-permanent hair color. Check out the tutorial and let me know how you think the final look came out.
I hope you find this video helpful. Thank you so much for watching!

You did a great job. I've been looking for another method to lighten my hair other than bleaching it-cant tell you how many times I've lost it to bleaching.. What could be simpler than this! as far as the measurements go, you said equal amounts of each- just tweak until you get the consistency needed-unlike bleach, you can do this process until you achieve your color and still keep your hair.

😮I am going to try this!!! I thought I needed to cut or big chop the semi perm color or bleach my hair again because copper color just wasn’t rinsing out.

Nice!!! I'm going to try this and hopefully it works for me. I have dyed my hair blue black for years. And it won't come out. I don't want to put harsh chemicals in my hair. Thanks.

Oh no I’m so sorry to hear this. This should work however depending on the color you may need to do multiple rounds. For example: if your hair color is red it will take a few tries because red is a hard color to remove. Hope this helps.

It really depends how dark the hair is your starting on. It should work but if it doesn't remove as much as you'd like then do it again.

It’s good she did the video to show people.. but she not really saying how much to use with every ingredient it cut before she finish. A little bit and a dab could mean anything depending on how you use it her dab could be a lot or a little…so it didn’t really help me.
