    Hi! Loved the work on this video, super clean, super easy to follow! Do you have any go-to moisture treatments/masks for your hair after a process like this? Between the shampoos, the developer, and the baking soda it seems very drying.

    I did this except I didn't use purple shampoo and I did add lemon juice. I left it in my hair for about 2 hours then did an Olaplex treatment and deep condition. It worked very well and my hair got to a shade similar to yours but a little bit lighter- almost blonde. My 4A curls held up very well. I had Arctic Fox Transylvania color in my hair that had faded to a purple color that I didn't like, and I was hesitant to do a bleach wash after having previously bleached my hair. This process is amazing!!! Excellent video!

    Dandruff shampoo is super clarifying. I used to mix it with vitamin c to fade color. Dawn dish soap is also really good at stripping color. Purple shampoo is similar to a toner and this is my first time using it so I’m not so sure about that part.

I put equal parts, baking soda, and 10 volume developer. Then I eyeballed the rest like you did, Dawn ultra (the blue kind), Suave professionals almond and shea butter moisturizing shampoo. I left it in my hair for 30 minutes. Later I'm going to test it again and see if it works I'll update you.

  • @krates1913

    @krates1913

    3 жыл бұрын

    I would say yes but just be careful and mindful of your hair's condition. I've bleached my hair twice in one day before but my hair was relatively healthy when I did it so I didn't have any issues. If your hair is already experiencing some breakage or is damaged in some type of way I wouldn't recommend doing it right after. But if you're hair is in good shape I'd say you're good to go. Just make sure you treat your hair. I recommend Olaplex or the Aphogee protein treatment to follow up after this and after bleaching to help maintain the health of your hair. I hope this helps!
