This video was amazing! I watched it throughout last week and practiced it at home and was able to pull it off textbook in open mat. Especially the part about starting the triangle in high guard instead of trying to hit the triangle immediately. Thanks for the video

I have shorter legs but I love triangles and this video is really good at addressing all of my concerns. I usually need to get every detail right for the triangle to work for my body type without someone stuffing it and it always feels like I wish I had multiple arms: two to pull down on the head to break posture while another two are busy getting their arm across, while another one grabs the leg for the angle. This video helps me pull it off with the only two I've got 😂

Stephan Kesting is the Nick fury of the Bjj Avengers hands down! Some of the most collaborations I have seen from a content creator on youtube. I've been watching him since 2010 when Renato laranja only had 27 world titles

What do you do if, after you get the overhook and start trying to get your leg out, the guy uses his free arm to grab that leg, possibly even posting off of it to posture back up? That's usually what happens to me when I go for this overhook and I don't have a better solution than trying to muscle through.

Any chance Jon will come back on the Strenuous Life podcast to talk about the new instructional? Really enjoyed the last one you did together.

@@StephanKesting Thanks, as a bonus it’s a great way to both promote and complement an instructional. The last one inspired me to purchase the Open Guard System and it’s worth every penny.
