How to program a multiple Fobs for 2012 Chevy Volt.
My volt was glitchy so I've include instructions.
You need an original key to Unlock driver side car door 5 times
Screen will say
Remote learning Pending
Please wait
1 Press power Button once
Wait 10 minutes then
Screen will say “Press start button to learn”
2 Press power Button once
Wait 10 minutes then
Screen will say “Press start button to learn”
3 Press power Button once
Wait 10 minutes then
Screen will say “Press start button to learn”
First Put Key Fob in dashboard hole in center of dashboard inside the compartment under the mat - then Press the power button
Screen will say “Ready for remote 1”
Wait about 10 seconds Pull key out and press unlock on FOB
Screen says “Ready for remote 2”
First Put Key in dashboard hole - then press the power button
After 10 seconds Pull key out and press unlock on FOB
Done hold power button for 10 seconds takes out of programing mode

I have a 2014 volt, lost my second fob) did the unlock part 5 times, I opened the door (with the original FOB) and saw the message "Ready for remote 3" right away. I inserted the new FOB, pressed START and immediately saw "Ready for remote 4", took out my new FOB, tested it and worked right away. No need to wait even a minute. BTW, I believe, both fobs were inside the vehicle when I did this. Thx for the video.

I tried that, but right at last step, after inserting old key, pressing start, asked for new key, put that in - it will open and lock doors , but for starting l- it says remote not detected

Try the procedure all over again and see if you can get it to work
Mine keeps saying "use transmitter pocket to start" it never says any of the messages you get...my car is now bricked.

Mine programmed the key bt all it does is lock and unlock the car. it won’t turn it on.were u able to fix it?

Mine unlocks and locks the car, it starts the car, but it won't unlock the charge port door. Any ideas?
