Nice! I'd love to know which envelope filter you used in the beginning. 🤓🔥

Great stuff doc… what’s the make of your bass?
Do you know how to get that sound like ta the beginning? What pedal effects use? :)
Very Cool..... 😇😇😇
You're the best
Deric can you do a video on how you make that off the hook bass face? ;- []
How to build speed and accuracy like 6:23 ?
What is that technique with the thumb and your finger at the beginning
Great video. Pardon my newbie ignorance, but what's that funky effect you use on the intro segment? Thank you 🙂

Yeah, I wonder which wah pedal you're using too! 🔥✌️
wow a thumb player like me. quite rare these days
I will be watching this 100 times.LoL
Why is it good to skip the F major and B half diminished pentatonics?
Great lesson. Major pentatonic always sounds weird to me compared to minor pentatonic.
Wow my great mentor i want to tap from your grace 🔥😇 I want to grow extra lint
Sir pls upload a video for playing songs using chords ,I know the chords but don't know when to use them.....

So what does it mean when you say you’re in the key of A minor? I’m new to all of this but I love these videos
@kenm1167
Жыл бұрын
"A Minor" is a scale, which is a group of notes that sound good together, which begins with the root note of "A"
@johng9393
Жыл бұрын
it’s a scale, yes. but it’s a key center or a tonality . you can have key of A minor without a scale . Scale expresses a key center . but a melody can and usually does express a key ( center ) or tonality without playing all the notes of a scale this is difficult to express . I believe key is primary and a scale expresses a key. i hope that helps
How to build speed on fast licks??

Great lesson Bass Master ! Greetings from México ! 👍
💙👊😎
👍 but with bass it’s just the groove and minor pentatonic for fills. What’s you’re doing looks like Modes or same concept.
How old were you when you learned that major/minor pentatonic relationships work exactly like normal major/minor with the same intervals and everything? I was today years old...

@Nathaniel Reynolds. That's hilarious. "I was today years old" when I learned about pentatonic relationships... (OG Daric, the book is writing itself). 🙌🙌🙌

I learned this when I was a teenager learning piano. Music Theories are essentials for playing creatively seriously.
@NatenNator

@@JDclk yeah, I know. I have a BA in music but we didn't cover jazz theory so I only got pentatonic scales a little in the bass lessons I was taking on the side. He knew I was a music major so he was like, "OH, WE CAN JUMP STRAIGHT TO THE HARD STUFF!!!"
@JDclk

@@NatenNator hahahahahaha 😂 well I don’t think much time was wasted! The teachers knows best supposedly lol I only took a online training course for music theory gospel music around the age of 18 I think it was! I recently got into learning this bass guitar like 2 years ago and applying the knowledge I have from keys 🎹 is like a close sibling relationship but executing on the other hand is difficult! Daric make it look so easy in this video!!! Also been learning sax at THAT is kicking my a** because the keys are named differently and it throws a lot off with trying to apply 🎹 theory to the 🎷 because of “concert key” names 😩 Descending on strings is way tougher than ascending for me! I can get carried away talking about music 😆
@NatenNator
2 жыл бұрын
@@JDclk lol! Yup, concert key can be confusing if you're not used to it! It all has to do with the length of tube used on the instrument. Especially brass because things like trumpets didn't originally have valves. You had a different trumpet for every key!
Him can play that thing with them big silver strings
🔥🤢🔥
"What the heck was that, that you played?" is more a question to this gentleman: kzread.info2uuRbx6BQtI?si=2HFCDKtUiXZPNZAY
Your fingers on your right hand are so quick...
This isn't a bass lesson, it's an act of violence :D Absolutely solid stuff, I love it. And good work on not toning down the content, too.
these sound like bdub
CAGED B)
Some people can't speak & play in time. Don't worry. BB King could play & sing but never at the same time. (It's a left/right brain thing)
Great teacher but please speak slowly I’m Italian thanks for all
