I did have a weird question. The combat seems to be kind of bad. People compare the combat to magic, but atleast in magic you can kill your opponent's guys. So is there ever really a point in attacking?. Since you can never get rid of your opponent's guys except by just letting them through, it just feels like a back and forth until someone loses, and if you are losing you wouldnt even initiate a battle because they are just going to hit you full force next turn. So is there a strategy im missing? Because we played for like 45 minutes in one game and we sat at 9/13 life and neither of us made a move because it would be the end of whoever .attacked.

NeoGenMike Tschida It is a very different type of combat from something like Magic, for the reasons that you listed. It definitely took us a few games before we really wrapped our heads around it. Remember that KO'd characters go to your prep area to be rolled again next turn. So at times you might want to attack even if you think you're going to lose that fight, as it will give you a bigger set of options on your next turn (assuming you can survive without all your defenders out for a turn). You might even want to let your opponent's attacks hit you instead of blocking, just so you can get them off of the field early. But it really all depends on which characters you have, and what you've managed to buy. There are definitely some cards with special abilities that do things that would help you out, such as knocking off opponent's life points without technically attacking. Definitely go to www.boardgamegeek.com to read up on other people's strategies, or watch our D&D Dice Masters video to see if it gives you any ideas: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZGx6s5mBfLq_n6w.html

Yeah thanks so much! After I commented a few days ago I watched it played a few times and realized that people get rerolled instead of just staying a face side.

I've watched three different "how tos" and playthroughs for this game, and it never appeals to me. Looks like thinly themed trash.

+silly buds If a sidekick die gets an attack through to your opponent it goes to the used pile. Then, when your bag is empty, or you can't draw enough dice, you add the used dice back into it. Same goes for regular character dice!

KINDA THE BATTLE SYSTEM IS SIMILAR BUT JUST ON THE WAY THE DAMAGE IS DONE THE ENERGY IS SIMILAR TO THE MANA BUT WITH 4 INSTEAD OF 5 (PLUS GENERIC AN ALL-IN-ONE) AND THE 20 LIFES BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS DIFERENT SPECIALY THE PURCHASE AND THE COMBAT IN GENERAL AND THE WAY THE CARDS ARE JUST REFERENCE
