I started this tutorial four months ago. i can finally focus on my right hand without thinking about my left hand. This is a huge step for me and I can't wait to get to tutorial eight. Well done girl, great first lesson can't wait to hear the next 3/4 parts also. I'm upto the first octave rundown pretty much. We all play it slightly different but the sound is basicly the same. I trill the intro and add the G to the A,Bb,B,C right hand slide into the tune after the intro. I love watching tutorials like this as everyone has there own style so can add parts to everyones videos and make your own. I wov it :D

@woogieman007 thank you 😀😀 yes I’ve noticed that everyone plays it so differently. Some people repeat the opening chords instead of trill/tremolo , some people play those chords higher up etc . That’s always been a bit 😱 for me as pre boogie I played classical from sheet music, so am used to “you must play exactly what’s on the page” 😆

@@boogiewoogieandbluespiano Yeah I get you there most classical piano players play as the music sheet says also if you play it at Albert Ammons pace your hands will explode from the smoke you generate with the speed 🎹 🙂. You did a good lesson if I ever complete it I'll do one also years off but I have forgotten most of it as I haven't played it for so long, good thing I have my overhead camera to check back

@@woogieman007 yes it’s been a steep learning curve for me , that it’s ok and even preferable to put your own stamp on things. Even now , when I play something Arthur taught me , if I play it a bit differently I feel like I’m “cheating” and doing it “wrong” and sometimes end up digging out my lesson video and forcing myself to “do it right “ 😆😆 I am gradually doing that less and less though 😅

@@boogiewoogieandbluespiano Funny thing is I based my version off 3,4 different players who did the lesson so there's a bit of all of them in mine 😝 and a pinch of salt of my own style. It's good to break away from 1 player sometimes as much as you love him lol you may find another way to play it and do a bit of Arthur and another piano player. But I can't tell you what to do lol. You are your own boss with your own style that's a great thing ♥️

Yes I think everyone plays this differently 😊 I was very new to boogie when I learnt this so I guess Arthur taught me an easier left hand 😅

@@ralphpotts9399 😁😁 ahh no, I don’t think so . I learnt it from Arthur Migliazza as a simplified left hand for Boogie Woogie Stomp for the first 10 choruses but it’s a little different to what some people play . It’s probably closer to the original left hand of Pinetops Boogie 😊😊
