    I have been hunting and target shooting for 50 years. I only require a few characteristics in a good scope. Clear vision and bright images. Cross hairs or reticles that are not thick and show fine in the middle (like the Burris Ballistic Plex) . A scope that is water proof and shock proof. A scope where the magnification works and is not fuzzy when turned up ..!! Thanks for the video here > 🙂

    Thank you for commenting on Reticle. I hunt in North East. I wish you put a fine plex in your E1 scopes. Reticle is the most important when we buy scopes. As soon as we pick a scope, we look through it and we see the reticle. When I see the busy reticle with all of those compensation dot that I don't need, I move on to another brand. Please make more scopes with fine plex reticles for hunters in woodland.

    I just picked up a Fullfield IV 3-12x56 to top off my Winchester XPR in 6.8 Western. This is a hunting rig with shots 400 yds and less. I am expecting low-light early morning or last light in overcast/inclement conditions for the deer and moose we hunt. I am really impressed with the ballistic tools available on the Burris website. It makes dialing things in quite easy whether using store-bought or in my case, reloads. This is my first Burris product.

    Me Too! I'm looking to do the 400 yard shots as well. I put mine on a Tikka T3 .270 just mounted it and am excited to get out and get it zeroed and do some targets. Oddly We are not supposed to put up and shoot at pictures of our idiot prime minister justdumb turdope. But Canada is still a free country (barely) so to heck with them.

    How is that working out for you? I’m in New Jersey. After the rut and bow season… The pressure of the wood puts the deer 50-100+ yards out. I want to put together a Savage 220 slug gun. Lots of pine with open shots but it’s can be darker early and late.

    Personally I like the 5-25 hd I shoot 100-200 yards it's nice to have that extra zoom with teaching younger kids so least they know where the shot is going. 700$ for my 7 year old son to be able to have 1.5" grouping at 300 yards is nice

    Just got myself a Droptine mdl. 4.5x14x42 for deer hunting. I mounted it on top of a H&R Handy Rifle chambered in 444. Would this be a wise choice for this gun seems I heard you mention a couple times about it and a 22 caliber being it has subtensions on the 6:00 retinal Oh by the way I absolutely love how crisp the picture is when you shoulder it and look down range

    You most definitely can use that scope on a 308. You can use the Burris Connect app, or Ballistic tools on our website to see how the reticle works with your 308 load.

    For the Signature HD we don't have a sunshade but you could likely find one that will fit from MK Machining. For the lens covers we sell some sets, and we also like to recommend Butler Creek.

    Stone - we left detailed reply to this question that you left on another video but I can't remember which video so I'll leave this - for your setup I'd go with the Droptine 3-9x40. You can pick it up for under $150, it has a forever warranty, and steel components rather than plastic which most scopes in this price point have. Here's an article on it from Game and Fish Magazine... www.gameandfishmag.com/editorial/burris-droptine-scope-review/387030

    Why when i keep buying rifle scopes for my rifle it stops zeroing? Is it because i didnt choose the perfect scope for my rifle or is the scope made for other rifles and why when i zero my scope it wont go bullseye in the crosshair it just stops clicks

    If you are out of adjustment it represents a very slight misalignment in the mounting usually. This can happen to any brand or model of scope. To compensate for this we invented our Signature Rings back in the 70s. These rings negate the need for shims, as they have 'posi-align' inserts that allow you to cant the scope in the direction needed to zero your rifle. These can be used in lieu of windage adjustable bases, and canted bases. Please take a look at the links below for more information. www.burrisoptics.com/signature-rings www.burrisoptics.com/mounting-systemsv62429s/rings/xtr-signature-ringsyoutub

  • @BurrisOpticsCompany

    @BurrisOpticsCompany

    2 жыл бұрын

    We didn't "move production to China". We added new scopes to the lineup that come from China if that's what you mean, but nothing was moved to China. Not everyone can afford to spend hundreds or thousands on a scope so we try to offer features and affordability for everyone. And of course they're still covered by the Forever Warranty in the unlikely even that you need it.
