What Makes Burris Optics the Best Riflescope on the Market

Спорт

Burris Optics has been a leader in rifle scope innovation for nearly 50 years! So how do we make the best scopes on the market? We started by analyzing and breaking the competition's scopes - then made a scope that wouldn't fail at those same weak points. When we had repeatable turrets that wouldn't fail we brought in some of the best long range shooters in the country and gave them many different reticles to try until we found reticles that would allow you to see misses without giving up the ability to aim precisely at any distance. I just picked up the Veracity PH 4-20 x 50. Going to put it on my 7 mm PRC. Can’t wait to start slinging rounds down range. Great product.

The dealer showed me every Vortex he had and some bushnell scopes but I am leaning more towards the Fullfield IV 4-16x50 .. Love everything about Burris so much !! I think I will buy the company !! I would like to be able to use only one scope for my 2 rifles (Ruger 10/22 and ADC M5 .223 Rem) with fast mounts. I would like a good compromise between reliability and optimal vision for a 100 yard shot. Given what models would you recommend? Thank you

@@BurrisOpticsCompany I wish Burris would have the fine plex reticle in their lower priced optics such as E1 models. I don't need any of their busy reticles because they are a distraction in woodland. I don't need bullet drop compensation or adjustment for wind when all my hunting happens in less than 150 yards. What I need is a nice clean fine plex reticle. It looks like Burris is focussed on making scopes for tactical shooters.

I’m thinking about going with a leupold vx3 cds 3.5 x 10 hd glass scope for my 308. What scope would be competition for this scope and why should I go Burris over leupold?

Well here’s my take. I have a number of scopes from Leupold and others but the closest I have to the 3.5-10? A Leupold. VX R 4-12x40 CDS dial with a 30mm tube and the Burris Signature HD 3-15x44 with the illuminated BDC reticle. The VX R is superior to the VX 3 and the Burris is VASTLY superior to both in features AND value. Let’s walk through the features of theVX 3 and the Burris. Power range: 3.5-10 vs 3-15. Parallax Leupold no Burris yes. Locking turrets L no, B yes. Reticle Burris hands down best I’ve ever seen for hunting. Heavy crosshairs at edge tapering thin towards the center which is illuminated. It draws your eye to target faster than any I’ve seen included the Leupold duplex Fire dot. The BDC Lines for 200, 300 and 400 yards aren’t clustered into the center making them have to differentiate. The 10 mph wind dits are great also. The eye box on the B is also vastly superior to the L. The L is priced over the B if you get the illuminated fire dot. I have five Leupold scopes so I’m a fan but not a fanboy. This 3-15 is my first Burris but it won’t be the last. The amazing features, build quality coupled with the best hunting reticle makes it the clear winner over the 3.5-10. In fact I also have the L VX 5 HD 3-15x 44 but it’s twice the money an the Burris which REALLY makes the Burris a winner. Features are almost identical but again the E3 BDC reticle is dominantly superior. If you can, compare both at a gun store and see the difference. Burris hands down! ,

Holy cow Jeffrey, thank you SO MUCH for the feedback! We really appreciate hearing stuff like that. Let us know if we can help! Remember, your warranty covers accessories that came with the scope too. Turret caps etc. (we've all lost those at some point 😁)

I just looked through the Leupold Vx5 HD 3-15 and the Burris Signature 3-15 at my local Bass Pro. They were so close as far as clarity and light gathering. However the Burris was half the price of the Leupold. Bought the Burris and am very happy with it. (Side note, I think the Chinese must have reversed engineered Leupold design because the scopes looked extremely similar)

@@healthyhappyheroI shot a Burris predator quest. And a vx-5 same caliber and same model gun side by side and into low light. The Burris was clearer in low light and actually seemed to gather light better. The leupold wouldn’t hold zero for anything but turned out to be a couple screws a guy never tighten just had them snug. After that it held zero hit for a $200 and something scope vs a $1500-1800 and the $200 scope seemed to keep up or outperform I was sold. I since they have only bought Burris optics. Just trying to decide currently on my next one. Just wish they made the signature series in a silver finish

I would recommend reaching out to our CS team at burris.supportsync.com - from what I've seen of this issue some non-Burris rings can put too much pressure on internal components causing them to not move smoothly. That's one of the reasons we invented the Signature rings that have Durlon inserts to alleviate this issue on our scope and scopes from anyone really but contacting Customer Service is a good idea.

I just purchased a fullfield e1 4x14. I saw on the website you offer custom turrets. The scope has the long range moa reticle. I’m putting on a 257 weatherby. Am I able to get a custom dial made for the caliber for that scope.
