in some of their set boxes, there's a little pamphlet with 50% adds for more products, and 50% picture tutorials and a qr code to a video version. its honestly awesome.

That rust trick is probably one of my favorite tricks 👌
I know necrons are a great example for your metallics speed paint, but I was curious if you could show how it works on tubing and I think for that Admech models would do well as an example. I'd love to see you try and play with an blackened oily admech scheme maybe with a white for the cloth! Maybe the tubing could be a fringe benefit of getting to show off how your whites and blacks can couple with other base coat types?
I would like to see a tutorial on moving from Speedpaints tabletop ready to award-winning display level of paint job ;).
I absolutely LOVE the AP primers. They go on so evenly and the range of colors give such great contrast!
This is as speedpaint as it can get, very fast!
Looks fantastic Thomas! 😁
THIS! This right here is what I was looking for with Army Painter Speed Paints (2.0 especially). Though I am going for a cleaner look that really helps learn about the rusting effects. (Now, if I get just get any of my local hobby shops to carry the individual 2.0 speed paints, I'll be set -- sigh).
Nice tips, even for people that aren't painting the models shown in the video.
I would be happy to see the Army Painter team tackle some rubric marines!

There's be nothing to tackle, upon impact it would just be a cloud of dust...
That green looks great!
I love that you guys do these videos! And I really love the alternative paint schemes and their recipes at the end of the video. Please consider doing similar videos for other 40K armies!
Every time I watch your videos I learn something new. I feel like I have a better understanding now of how to use the paints I have on hand. Thank you!
Awsome to get such a nice result with these techniques!

This is a great tutorial, the bit at the end with same techniques but different paints is really good. I get that it's extra work but it massively multiplies the value of the video.

To those who don't have those flourescent colors: Shamrock Green with some Medium (maybe 2:1) on a bright white underground makes a fantastic looking glowing green effect! 😅

Shamrock Green is an excellent Speedpaint choice for that signature gauss glow as well :)
Fantastic tutorial 🎉 I would love to see some 🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟 Since I have just about ALL zombicide boxes to date (except Invader), that needs to be painted 😮🙈😭🙏🏻
It’s about to get NUTS!
I didnt know that Rust worked better mixed with water, but now I need to test it out
How did you know I was just about to paint some necrons?! 🤔
How is TAP not at 100K subscribers? Fricken injustice, man.
Thanks à lot !
This video help me paint my space marines:it's about to get nuts.
I loved this, the rust effect looked amazing. could you maybe take a stab at the wizkids chromatic dragons at some point?
Great tutorial guys. I'm actually about to finish my marketing intership can I come and work on some amazing content with you? Haha
I may just have to start a necron kill team to try out some of these paint schemes lol
Hi! Love the speedpaint range! Can I varnish my speedpainted minis with army painters matte Varnish?

Yes :)
When is the single pots of 2.0 available? The local store still has not got the rack let alone the single pots. On the website it looks like only 1.0 is available.
for the paints at 4:56 are they basecoating with desolate brown? and going from there after the white primer?
Just watched this for the fourth time, and it's still is great! Especially the glowing orbs! But I just realized that Thomas did not paint the overlords blade to be glowing, why is that? Does it not work with this technique? How would you do it? I feel it is just as important as the orbs. Edit: for spellling
Personally I use Speedpaint Nuclear Sunrise for rust effects.
I have a question. Wouldn't using the metal spray primer be even faster than using the metallic speed paint? If so, does using the speed paint create a different effect? If so, what is it? I hope to hear back, love yalls stuff. So many options.
Just got too work with mine and some dip as I’m working metal miniatures.
Cant wait till I can grab the new 2.0
I have a weird question: Are y'all gonna release another version of the blood technical paint?
Thanks for this fantastic videos! I'm painting my necrons using only speedpaints, including the metallic range, and I absolutely love the results. However when I apply the matt varnish as recommended for speedpaints, all the metallic look is unfortunately gone, and I'm left with a fully matt miniature. Would you have any recommendations on how to get better results? Thanks!

If you want a slightly shinier look you can try the Aegis Suit Satin Varnish. It'll be slightly shiny, but not overly glossy.

I was worried it could reactivate the speedpaints if it's water based, but if it's safe to use I'm definitely buying it. Thanks for the reply!
