The thing I love about potatoes is that you can go the full crunchy route and enjoy them as chips or fries, but if you want something more hearty you can bake them or mash them and add a much more filling component to your meal. ALL WITH THE SAME FOOD. Amazing.

You could even make fries that arent crunchy and you can mush them up and just mix with salt pepper and butter... Or you can throw chedder and bacon bits on the akins and eat those. The possibilities infinite.

Or if you want, you can even drink your potatoes. Potato vodka is superior to wheat.

Potatoes are top tier 👌🏾
Thank you! This was SO easy to do and I can't believe it took me so long to do this :)
Thanks so much for making such a simple guide! Having your first PC and tooling around with this kind of stuff can be super daunting so these kinds of guides really help.
I was gonna search for a video like this later this week as I’ve just ordered a new kit! Great timing Blunty! Cheers!
Great content, it was so tricky to figure out when building my rig
Great video! Thanks Blunty I've always been curious about this but too afraid to break something.
Thx Blunty! Even after being a PC gamer for like 8 years I still didnt know that! Going to head home and try it now!

Just turned it on! Woot!
I've been playing on computers since windows 95(yes I'm kinda old) but computers have never really been my thing. I recently decided to try my hand at PC gaming. I bought more ram but I couldn't figure out how to get it's speed up from 2400. this video is the only one I've found who literally "breaks it down for stupid" with me being "stupid". thank you and you got yourself another subscriber.

I work in IT but not so much on hardware side. Was about to go down a big rabbit hole about timings and sub timings when I saw this video and realised I didn't need to 😂😂.
I just discovered your channel and im already loving it!
Definitely want to apply some of this to my RAM, cheers Bluntly.
My ram with xmp on is 3200mhz, but I managed to manually overclock to 3600mhz with 1.3v stable too and definitely better benchmarks
Awesome tutorial - Thanks Blunty. Subbed
Remember to check your BIOS settings every once in a while, especially after adding or changing hardware. I forgot to do this after another 16gb kit to my build after already applying xmp; turns out i had been running 32gb of RAM at stock values for almost a year before i caught it.

lol I've done that a couple times after updating my bios and end up realizing a few months later.
Oh cheers. This'll come in handy
Bought some 4400mhz ram and I was having trouble with it in my system. Thank you so much!
MAN when i discovered youtube some 10+ years ago your channel was one of the first ive ever seen. i remember your timtam milo video when you still had a 3000 behind your name. now i just randomly looked for how to overclock my ram and found you again after all these years what the hell lol
Needed this video today!! Thanks
Thank you for explaining this so simply and taking us through the steps. For anyone with an Asus motherboard (like mine), it's the DCOP setting that's the same as XMP.
2 minutes in you sold me 100% subscribed and liked love the content just built my first PC a year ago
Appreciate the video on this topic
Blunty I do have a fantastic love of potatoes, especially weird because I'm in no way of Irish descent. I already knew this little tidbit but I love supporting your content! Comfortably running my RAM at 3200.
I remember stumbling upon your channel a few years ago when the Parrot bebop review came out. Been subscribe ever since
Cheers mate. Great vid 👌
Hey! You're a pleasure to listen to with great instructions!. Hopefully KZread algorithm has been good to you
Thank you great informational video
Thanks, I have been running my RAM slow for over a year now, and you have changed that o7
I love your voice my good sir. Thank you for the video, very informative.
This video helped me A LOT! First time building my own pc and I got a faulty ram stick. So when I tried to mess with xmp and it didn't work, even though I knew it had compatibility, I was worried. Then after a few minutes, it stopped working altogether. I later discovered that the ram I've purchased was defective (and was probably fake), but I was TERRIFIED that I had done something wrong!!! And then here I was, days later, with my brand new PC untouched until a new ram stick is delivered. It came today, it worked perfectly and I was scared shitless to do something wrong, since my first experience was not ideal so far lol But your video not only helped me out, but kept me calm throughout the process. This stuff might be a piece of cake to experienced users, but newbies like me really appreciate the care and patience. Thank you man! ❤
In the same boat as a lot of the people you were talking about. I was a regular viewer for a good couple of years, quite some time ago. But this video was the first time the algorithm actually decided to show me your videos. Perhaps a binge is needed to give youtube a push in the right direction....
the best voice i hear on my life, thanks, i feel more safe, thats my first time with ddr4 and the motherboard i want to buy dont support the most commercial rams but with XMP if u can
Very useful, appreciate it
i do love potatoes.... But seriously thank you for this video! im looking to make some upgrades and this will come in handy! Awesome vid!
your the man. going to sub and I do love potatoes
Love you videos ❤
I had my 3600mhz ram running at 2133 for a year. Had no clue i needed to use xmp. And my pc ran so much faster. I felt like a moron cause i been bulding and fixing pcs for 20 years lmao

You're alright. I had been running my 3200 RAM at 2133 since 2019.
Thanks, I forgot when I bought my ram that I had 3200 hz and I've been playing on 2300 hz for a whole year and didn't notice it
Great video, thanks! Thumbs up for the algorythm! 👍
I came to watch ram overclocking, but now I realize how much I love my potatoes 🥔. Thanks Brazil 🇧🇷
Excellent video. Thank you for considering how foreign this can be for new people
for the algorithm, but also true: I do not care for overclocking ram, but still like listening to your voice explaining stuff...
My love of potatoes came with me from South Georgia, where I still think of sweet tea. People are fond of saying, "This one's good for ya!" as if I am somehow going to be forced to eat it. This love extends to other forms of potato and also most other foods made with potatoes. (Don't get me wrong - I like white potatoes with every day meals. The more corny and more oily the better.) I have strong feelings about grating potatoes, too. Usually I have not heard of someone who likes to grate their potatoes. Most people say they dislike it or are too lazy to grate their potatoes. I grate my potatoes. When my graters broke, I got myself a nice Cuisinart grater (I really didn't want to buy a grater because I like my potatoes mashed - but I found this one cheap at my local Target). That grater has a scraper on one end that makes sure that no mushy, bitter - tasting gunk gets in the potatoes (it scrapes the side that will get mashed anyway). Just like your mashed potatoes, you will have some left on your peel. While we are on the subject of potato peels, I also like to make a chunky mashed potato that is not as sweet as most people make - but I do add sugar or honey to taste. My theory is that people like it because it reminds them of how their mashed potatoes were served. Also, you get to eat your leftovers the next day, too. Served with a little salt. Potatoes contain starch, which the body turns into sugar. I know that there are many, many foods that have a lot of starch - pasta, mashed potatoes, bread, etc. That is because they contain some of the most easily broken down starch, but the starch in potatoes is very resistant to being broken down. Therefore, your body has to have lots of sugar to convert that starch into energy. Sugar has a lot of energy. For my body, especially during exercise, I need lots of energy. Thus, I do eat a lot of potatoes.
The KZread algorithm likes these tutorial videos!
Thanks, I forgot how easy it is to set the XMP profiles. I just upgraded my RAM after 3 years and needed a refresher!
Great video new sub. I'm from Blighty and we do love our spuds haha👍🏻
I love potatoes and I see your videos in my feed all the time
Saving this for later
i was searching for the ram and you overwhelmed me with SWEET VOICE wth
Thank You so much
This video helped me
thank you! i just bought a prebuilt (newbie here) and replaced the ram but feel as if it slowed down. hoping to try this once i get home!
This guide is 10/10 useful for a noob. Really nice.
This helped, thanks
Thanks for the information my ram was running at 2100mhz and now thanks to your video my ram is now running at 3600mhz💯🔥💪
Cool video man
Nice vid!
Thanks for this video
Hahahah. Funny yet super informative!.
Helpful 👍
Good info. Thx
That ram looks sick
Helpful. Ty
great channel
Gasp. Blunty does a PC hardware video for once. :D The last video I _remember_ was about the GTX 950 from Gigabyte.... But then again, my memory is spottier than a dalmation dog.
Cool video!
Thank you
Love me some potatoes. Especially loaded baked potatoes with sour cream, butter, cheese, and little bits of bacon. Great video, Thanks!
worked well thanks
Great video! 🤘
Love me a potato, subscribed, great stuff.
I love starchy potat spud goodness in all forms
great video, and damn I do love potatoes.
Thank you so much this vid was very very helpful
I got me some nice 3000 Mhz ram for my VR PC, and with my system it defaulted to a paltry 2133 Mhz! Lucky me I am abig nerd so i knew about XMP from the start. There is one thing to know about this though, the memory contorller is in the cpu these days, and it is posisble to set the memory speed correct for the memory specs, but the cpu memory controller might be overloaded. It can happen with nice fataass aweosme ram and a super low end CPU. not to say it won't work, but it wil be a stability issue for some builds.
Very nice
The love of potatoes brought me to the comments. Ohhh and I needed your wonderful help getting some RamRod speed. Thanks 👍
Thanks
I love potatoes! Thanks for this vid :)
My love if potatoes is immeasurable
thankyou!
I really have not seen your videos in years.
I really do love potatoes like... a LOT.
good info
Lovely concise and very clear however one potential "needed info" you didn't mention was spacing the memory correctly on 4 slot motherboards. I assume this was due to your boards being 2 slot ones but is probably the only memory mistake that is as common as not setting the profile.

I didn't mention it because this was not a "how to build a PC guide". Why did you think it was? I thought I was SO CLEAR. It was about taking advantage of the memory you have already, or upgrading what's there, and in the second case I DID specifically say "put the new ones back in the same place".
this is for ur algorithm
Thankx
thanks youuuuuuuuuu
Ah potatoes...boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew.
This video came too late... I built my computer about two years earlier, but I only discovered how to get the most out of my RAM when I wanted to get Cyberpunk to run better when that launched.
Thank you!
I love overclocked spuds
My love for my 🥔 is high
I never use my "Home" page on KZread, I just hang out in "Subscribed" where I see all your videos (and everyone else's that I've subscribed to) without KZread's shonky decision making algorithm getting in the way.

Potatoes are literally one of my favorite foods, not themselves of course, they're pretty bad (Yes I've eaten raw potato before), but they're so versatile and everything they can be made to is delicious! So yes! I love potatoes!
I have a very real but platonic love of potatoes
I hope it’s simple as it seems
Crispy baked potato with butter, cheese, sour cream, onion, and bacon bits.
helpful
thankss
Potato’s do go crazy
Potatoes man, they are amazing.
