The thing I love about potatoes is that you can go the full crunchy route and enjoy them as chips or fries, but if you want something more hearty you can bake them or mash them and add a much more filling component to your meal. ALL WITH THE SAME FOOD. Amazing.

You could even make fries that arent crunchy and you can mush them up and just mix with salt pepper and butter... Or you can throw chedder and bacon bits on the akins and eat those. The possibilities infinite.

Or if you want, you can even drink your potatoes. Potato vodka is superior to wheat.

I've been playing on computers since windows 95(yes I'm kinda old) but computers have never really been my thing. I recently decided to try my hand at PC gaming. I bought more ram but I couldn't figure out how to get it's speed up from 2400. this video is the only one I've found who literally "breaks it down for stupid" with me being "stupid". thank you and you got yourself another subscriber.

Remember to check your BIOS settings every once in a while, especially after adding or changing hardware. I forgot to do this after another 16gb kit to my build after already applying xmp; turns out i had been running 32gb of RAM at stock values for almost a year before i caught it.

This video helped me A LOT! First time building my own pc and I got a faulty ram stick. So when I tried to mess with xmp and it didn't work, even though I knew it had compatibility, I was worried. Then after a few minutes, it stopped working altogether. I later discovered that the ram I've purchased was defective (and was probably fake), but I was TERRIFIED that I had done something wrong!!! And then here I was, days later, with my brand new PC untouched until a new ram stick is delivered. It came today, it worked perfectly and I was scared shitless to do something wrong, since my first experience was not ideal so far lol But your video not only helped me out, but kept me calm throughout the process. This stuff might be a piece of cake to experienced users, but newbies like me really appreciate the care and patience. Thank you man! ❤

My love of potatoes came with me from South Georgia, where I still think of sweet tea. People are fond of saying, "This one's good for ya!" as if I am somehow going to be forced to eat it. This love extends to other forms of potato and also most other foods made with potatoes. (Don't get me wrong - I like white potatoes with every day meals. The more corny and more oily the better.) I have strong feelings about grating potatoes, too. Usually I have not heard of someone who likes to grate their potatoes. Most people say they dislike it or are too lazy to grate their potatoes. I grate my potatoes. When my graters broke, I got myself a nice Cuisinart grater (I really didn't want to buy a grater because I like my potatoes mashed - but I found this one cheap at my local Target). That grater has a scraper on one end that makes sure that no mushy, bitter - tasting gunk gets in the potatoes (it scrapes the side that will get mashed anyway). Just like your mashed potatoes, you will have some left on your peel. While we are on the subject of potato peels, I also like to make a chunky mashed potato that is not as sweet as most people make - but I do add sugar or honey to taste. My theory is that people like it because it reminds them of how their mashed potatoes were served. Also, you get to eat your leftovers the next day, too. Served with a little salt. Potatoes contain starch, which the body turns into sugar. I know that there are many, many foods that have a lot of starch - pasta, mashed potatoes, bread, etc. That is because they contain some of the most easily broken down starch, but the starch in potatoes is very resistant to being broken down. Therefore, your body has to have lots of sugar to convert that starch into energy. Sugar has a lot of energy. For my body, especially during exercise, I need lots of energy. Thus, I do eat a lot of potatoes.

I got me some nice 3000 Mhz ram for my VR PC, and with my system it defaulted to a paltry 2133 Mhz! Lucky me I am abig nerd so i knew about XMP from the start. There is one thing to know about this though, the memory contorller is in the cpu these days, and it is posisble to set the memory speed correct for the memory specs, but the cpu memory controller might be overloaded. It can happen with nice fataass aweosme ram and a super low end CPU. not to say it won't work, but it wil be a stability issue for some builds.

Lovely concise and very clear however one potential "needed info" you didn't mention was spacing the memory correctly on 4 slot motherboards. I assume this was due to your boards being 2 slot ones but is probably the only memory mistake that is as common as not setting the profile.

  • @BluntyTV

I didn't mention it because this was not a "how to build a PC guide". Why did you think it was? I thought I was SO CLEAR. It was about taking advantage of the memory you have already, or upgrading what's there, and in the second case I DID specifically say "put the new ones back in the same place".
