Thank you, Soumi! The framework you shared in the video to negotiate a higher salary is immensely helpful. It's true #Wisdom. A couple of quick questions: 1. Lot of job posting mention "As per Market Standards" in the compensation field. How to discover the "Market Standards"? 2. To estimate the pay package for a particular role at a certain organization. Do you think a LinkedIn connection (read stranger) would be willing to transparently share ballpark compensation figures?

Hey - find from Glassdoor etc. If you can't find same company, then another similar one. LinkedIn strangers obv won't share their salary, but when u ask - this is what I am being offered/I want to ask for - do you think that's justified - then they are much more receptive :)

I have seen that people in college get good salary compared to outside experienced. How should we tacke this. Cause if a person coming from good college get higher pay (via college) and a person working with practical experience being paid lower.

I need your guidance. I'm looking for a job change, have 3 years of SAP SD experience and one offer in hand offering 65% on current CTC, please guide how much Salary hike or Raise I can ask for , while interviewing for other companies? Can we ask for 100% to 150% hike right now, if have another offer in hand? I'm confused Because news are saying recession is now over almost but all industry people are saying market condition is still not good so just accept the offer for whatever the company will provide. Kindly suggest the best suitable opinion in this case. Thanks for your videos which are really helpful for students and professionals. Addicted to your channel

What to do when the company has already decided that at this certain amount, will be the highest salary they can pay and you have reached that level. Although there are companies who pay even more for the same role. What alternative we have in such case?

Companies always have a range. If you are hitting the higher cap, then I don't think there is anything you can do...because company's budget approval would have gone through already
