This makes 50 balls.
4 cups instant powdered milk
2 tbsp. flour All Purpose
1/2 tsp elychee or ground cardamom
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup pureed ginger

For the syrup
5 cups water
4 cups sugar
Feel free to add cardamon pods or saffron threads to the syrup.

Do I need to put these in the fridge while it soaks overnight? I did that once and the simple sugar got more sticky

If by pancake syrup you are referring to maple syrup no..its supposed to be thinner but if you prefer it thicker you can but usually its a thinner runny consistency

Hi Natasha I just tried this recipe but unfortunately for me ..all the balls stuck to the bottom of my pot..It was on medium high...I dont know where I went wrong☹
