Very nice. I think zero has vertical fin and rudder behind the elevator so that rudder can work effectively while diving.

Nice! now i know what to do with my old 2 channel rc plane that has all these electronic components already! it was one of those mall indoor rc plane toys. has the magnet/wire loop rear tail system and everything. :)

thumbs up for using old packing foam. that was brilliant. you also may have been able to cut out the shapes better if you made a vertical cutter like a band saw with the nickel chrome wire. 20mah battery isn't much at all. a 2032 coin cell would give 220-235mah. and possibly weigh about the same.

Easy. Put weights on the ends of a nichrome wire with ends draped over the edge of the table. Use 2 same diameter drill bits under the wire to the thickness desired.

.010 smooth guitar string and 12V power supply connected to 2 screws on a flat table. String stretched tight between the screws.

@@bryanewyatt thin magnet wire wrapped around a pencil 25 times, slid off the pencil and superglued to hold it together. A small neodymium magnet that will fits through the hole. Current will make the coil move one way or the other. I dont know the voltage. I would start with 1.5 volts. The actual wraps around the pencil im not sure about. But ive seen them before. Im guessing 25 -30 wraps the thinnest magnet wire you can get. Power up 3.0 uses it. But I highly suggest not buying them. I bought 2 and theyre horrible.
