4 starchy potatoes (russet)
1 tsp salt
50g butter
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chopped parsley
2 tbsp olive oil
season before serving with your choice of seasoning

These looked like almost mash potatoes 🥔 at 1st... I was almost convinced this was a failed recipe... But these turned out crispy and amazing, because of the residual starch when they were boiled... The starch was the key to make these crispy... Excellent recipe😎...

Pretty much how i do mine except i don't peel them. A couple of cloves of garlic in the cooking water works a treat too.
Good stuff my friend 👍 it doesn't get much simpler than that. Now toss on some shredded cheese a little sourcream and some chopped green onions! MMMMMM 😋

@@eeemaster you definitely can! The skin on russet potatoes are thicker so not everyone is fan. Personally I like the extra crispy skin on them

Looking so tasty nice presentation
Never really occurred to me that you could par boil smaller diced potatoes, as I'd always figured they'd just fall apart too much, but seems like you found a good timing/balance, seems a bit quicker than doing whole/halved taters too!

what is the recommended oven temp if you are not using an air fryer

It’ll be the same temperature in the oven, only difference will be possibly an extra 5 min cooking time
