This is the original recipe. Very delicious looking result . Thanks a lot. Some are asking about the rice and yoghurt. I think , the rice must be white rice by all means , the one for tuwo. The cooked one added is the common rice. Any yoghurt will do , it helps in the fermentation. The potash reduces the acidity , so baking soda ( soda bicarbonate ) can replace it if you don't have the potash . You may use a nonstick flat pan if you don't have the type in the video , but then it will be called sinasir . Hopefully, this was helpful .

You just answered my question. That is if l could use our oyibo yoghurt since I am far from where I can get kindirmo. Thanks too for giving an alternative for potash, called kaun in the native parlance. On the whole permit me to call you a good teacher.God bless you ma.

Thank you so much for the thorough explanation. Please I have some questions please. 1. What’s makes masa fluffy? 2. Must I soak the tuwo rice before blending even though I use a very powerful blender? 3. Which cooked rice gives best result; tuwo rice or common rice? Thank you.

Tq. 🙏a new inspiration to peel the corn husks. in the past here, people just cooked it longer, and rinsed it while scrubbing the corn. and it was a tiring process for me at that time. 😃
