My uncle used to have a Parisian pastry shop. A tip I picked up from him is that when you're cooling choux pastry, poking a small hole in it will allow steam to escape and you'll end up with a firmer finished product, because the interior doesn't end up reabsorbing any moisture.

Made this recipe at home (I’m a very novice baker) and these turned out PERFECT!!! One thing to note the recipe says “8 tablespoons of butter” who has time to measure 8 tablespoons of butter???! 1 tablespoon = 15 mL. 15 mL x 8 = 120 mL which is actually half a cup. Hope that makes things easier for everyone! Thanks so much Natasha! My kitchen smells A M A Z I N G 💕

YeeSu .....Dear Friends of God......................Please research God's Time/Calendar in Genesis 1:14 before the False Sabbath law is enforced! Actions are in progress to honor a Sabbath day. Already today, there are Sunday laws written on government books. Saturday nor Sunday is NOT the true biblical Sabbath. Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God. God commanded us to let the lights in heaven be for days, years, etc. We are to use the sun, moon and stars to calculate our days, years, signs, seasons, Sabbaths, etc. The Sabbath commandment is one of the Ten commandments listed in Exodus 20 and It is just as important as the other nine commandments. It is to be kept! The Sabbath is calculated by God's Time in the heavens not by the Gregorian Calendar or any other man-made time. The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people Israel and whosoever join themselves to them. One law is to Israel and to the stranger. Also, research the "seven Noahide Laws" From my research online, these laws are Jewish laws taken from their writings, namely the Talmud. The first law in the "seven Noahide laws" forbids the worship of idols. According to Jewish writings, the worship of Jesus, Yahushua, etc........is idolatry and is punishable by death, decapitation. There is a movement to enforce these laws on all nations. THESE LAWS ARE VERY DANGEROUS TO CHRISTIANS AND TO ALL MANKIND!! Lastly, there is much talk online that the Jewish people residing in the land of Israel today are not the true Israelites and that the true Israelites are today now scattered throughout the nations, is this true? I made these today and they turned out pefectly! Thank you for the guidence :) Tips: Not all eggs are the same size, I had to use five large eggs to get the right batter consistency. I also poked holes in the pastry when they came out of the oven and popped them back into the oven with heat off and the door half open to dry out for 10 mins.

Thanks for your tips. I've tried to make this dough before but my bake wasn't successful. After watching someone on a baking show make the dough I learned why. The use of an extra egg or one less than what the recipe says is key. The dough also needs to fall in the shape of a V but not to fast, not to slow. I'll keep your 2nd tip in mind when I go to bake these. Last thing I want is a cream puff that's fully baked outside but raw in the inside 😕 Thanks again... 👍
