I am making this cake for Mother's day which is tomorrow but I am preparing it today so the 3 Leches can really soak in the cake. Thank you so much for this recipe it is so simple that even I could do it (13 years old) all by myself. :) I ll update tomorrow on how it taste ;) Edit: I forgot to update but it turned out delicious like you have to try this out. It turned out moist, fluffy, and just perfect the best part is its pretty simple to make :) So thanks for this video cause it really helped me out and made my mom super happy! Edit: I'm now 14 years old and I still do this recipe it comes out better everytime!!

I was introduced to Tres leches years ago by my husband's family as he is Hispanic. I loved it so much we had a layered version with sliced peaches and some of the lightly sweetened frosting in the center as our wedding cake. 😊This was my second attempt at making it and your recipe is spot on. So easy to follow and delicious. I was able to halve it for the 2 of us in an 8x8.As per husband's request I just did a light dusting of cinnamon on the top instead of fruit which is also a yummy option if theres no fruit on hand. Thank you Natasha for another great recipe! It brightened our day. Hope you had a nice Easter with your family😊🙏

What is "volume" of cup? I mean for example 200 gram cup, 100 gr cup, sizes?

This cake came out so good! I cut the recipe in half and put it in a 6 “ pan . Worked out perfectly. Texture of the sponge cake was perfect firm but not to firm or soft. Taste was great. Not eggy at all. I’ve tried a few tres leches recipes here on KZread but this will be my go to

I made this for a Venezuelan friend for her birthday and she loved it! I was told by a handful of Latin guests that it was delicious and they've had many tres leches cakes. Funny enough, I've never had tres leches so I was clueless. I studied many recipes and chose this one. Easy to follow. I soaked the cake overnight and added whipped cream and cinnamon the next day. Made this for niece's bday today. The cake turned out super soft. Used whole wheat flour instead of all purpose flour. For the milk i used whole milk, fresh cream and condensed milk. The cake was to die for once it absorbed the milk. Thanks a ton for the recipe. This was my first bake with egg. But your video made it very easy for me to prepare this cake.

This is so delicious. I baked this cake on Thanksgiving and people loved this. Today Christmas Eve, I’m baking this cake again. Thanks for the easy recipe 🎉

Is it sweet?

Well done. I’ve been asked so many times to make a Tres Leches cake. I’d never even tasted one much less made one so I watched several KZreads before I settled on your recipe/method. Bottom line is it turned out amazing. I didn’t have my rectangle pan available so I used a 9” springform pan. It baked perfectly. I turned the cake out upside down in a deep pie plate and using my cool cake leveler saw, trimmed the skin off the top leaving the tender cake sponge. I still perforated the top with a fork before pouring the milk sauce over the top. I gave it about 3-4 hours in the fridge before icing. Being me I had to personalize the topping a bit so I used honey to sweeten the whipping cream then I incorporated some mascarpone. After icing the cake, I refrigerated it a couple more hours then garnished the cake with slices of strawberries before serving. I served this cake at a pot luck dinner at work and it was devoured before any other dessert was ever touched. Thank you Natasha for a great recipe and video.

One of the best cakes I've ever had in 55 years ❤. Natasha thank you for such a delicious recipe. We did cut up strawberries and blueberries and put them on right before serving to avoid the bleeding. Note that this is NOT a cake that will last more than 2 days (refrigerated). By 3rd day the tres leches is leaking out of cake and into the pan. This cake is now my go to for special occasions ❤. Beats out all the chocolate and cheesecake varieties for best flavor! 😊

This was my first time making dessert from Natasha's Kitchen! I loved it and it was great and super moist and I topped it with blackberries however I found the cake to be very sweet! I might have added too much condensed milk but I think I can cut down on the sugar in the actual batter.

I tried making this cake and it was really good! The fluffiest cake EVER! I ate two big slices in one sitting, but I halfed the recipe and used a brownie pan for it. Yummy! 😋😋😋

Soo this is the famous "Milk cake" that's taken London by storm... Great to find a recipe for it. Thank you. Now my husband won't drool over people's snaps and moan about a tray of it being close to £30.

Seriously it's a latino traditional sweet, you can find it for 1.00 dollar a piece in every bakery

I know you can find it anywhere but the quality and flavor might be compromised. Nothing can substitute quality ingredients, a good recipe, and made AT HOME!
