Best Shawarma I've ever had was in Palestine. I eat three a day for days on end, they have the most amazing chili sauce and I never got tired of them

Winner winner chicken dinner! Took your advice and added more chili. Perfect heat! Used the chicken on nachos, and of course wrapped in pita bread. Great addition to my arsenal of chicken dishes!

Thank You for another great recipe Henry! Link to the recipe for the type of garlic sauce you use would be great!
Looks delicious😋 what did you do with the fat in the tray?
@HenrysHowTos

No harm in adding some of it onto the meat when serving, or soak the bread in it. Or just add a touch of cornflour and make a nice gravy for another recipe
Man, you're a God!!!!
I'm definitely trying this. You have a video for the sauce?
As always it looks mouthwatering yummy 🤤🤤🤤
And THAT is how you get repeat customers to your restaurant or your dining room at home! Another fine recipe my friend!
Superb!

Wow, i love the look of this one, 👍👍👍👍👍😎🇬🇧
I'm going to make this tonight in my kamado grill. Do you need a drip pan over the coals to make the heat a little less direct? What temperature are we shooting for the meat to reach internally? You're the best Henry.

Not much fat to be rendered so I wouldn't bother
Looks great - is the garlic sauce made with yoghurt & lemon juice?
@HenrysHowTos
2 жыл бұрын
My toum recipe is on my channel. It’s just garlic, salt, lemon juice and oil. You can mix with yoghurt or mayo to make it less intense
I’ve seen shops put lemons and oranges on top of the shawarama on the rotating grill. Not sure if it was the full thing or just the skin
SHARED ! 💜💜💜 QUESTIONS : - Are the sticks supposed to be soaked in water 1st ? - What is the oven temp in Farenheit please ? - Is it best to marinate OVERNIGHT ?
@offroadskater
2 жыл бұрын
- You don´t have to, but it doesn´t hurt. A little easier to get them out after cooking and they burn less - 430 fahrenheit - Yes
Crap...super nice, only problem we don't have a refrigirator, nor an oven. Maybe with a little luck...one day. If you have any ideas on how to make this without these two devices, I, we, would be happy to hear! All the best man!

yummy! 🤤👌
Yum! 👍
Amazing 👍👍👍👌👌👌👌
Can metal skewers be used?
I bet that onion tastes fcuking awesome!!
Where is that henry garlic sauce recipe !!!?! XD
Yummy
How come no yoghurt for the marinade?
Yummy Yummy
Is it toum (garlic sauce?)
I had a sneaking suspicion that the chicken would not cook through and even though my oven temp recorded 450°F and I added 15 more minutes of cooking time, the onion and all the chicken was raw in the center so I had to pan cook them. I hope it tastes as good as it smells. I’m still waiting…😊
خیلی دوست داشتم ممنوم🙌🙏👌👌👌

Lemon, paprika, chilli n garlic in a Swarma? Is this the Irani version? The levantine version is much different.... Kurkum, baharat salt and pepper along with the zeit zetun and thats about it yet the cooking method is spot on but man lettece? Garlics sauce? Come on..., t7ina and 3amba!!! Also the wrapping technique you made a really nice boritto
Very similar to Greek Gyros. Mmm
Hey Henry I am trying this right now but if I'm baking it can you tell me how long and what temp please

What’s the garlic sauce recipe
Just a tip, way better to use a potatis than a onion.
@shahdana8411
2 жыл бұрын
Why is that? The onion has a clear purpose here as it will add to the dish in a way a potato cant.
@jonmedina259

My guess is that the onion might fall apart when a potato wouldn't
