How to Make Bananas Foster - Recipe and Cooking Demonstration

For National Hot Buttered Rum Day, we thought we'd do something a little different and feature a dessert that's one of our most popular requests at our catering events -- Bananas Foster!
That's right, Chef Cody's going to show you how to make this flame-boyant and delicious dessert.
(Kids -- do NOT attempt this without a responsible adult's supervision.)
Ok, here's what you're going to need:
Bananas Foster Recipe
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup banana liqueur
4 bananas, cut in half lengthwise, then halved
1/4 cup dark rum
4 scoops vanilla ice cream -- Bluebell if you can get it. :)
Directions:
Combine butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a skillet over low heat, and cook until the sugar dissolves.
Stir in banana liquer.
Place bananas in pan.
Once bananas begin to brown, CAREFULLY add the rum. Then, slightly tip the pan to ignite the rum.
Once flame subsides, remove skillet from heat, and plate the bananas.
Top with vanilla ice cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
