Make the openwork ring of the 18K.
Arranged a design of the Renaissance period.
A hand cuts the 1.5 millimeters board of 18 pure gold in a coping saw.
The materials to use when I weld it use the edge materials that I cut off.
In other words I do not see the joint of the ring because I let you join it in the 100% same materials.
I sharpen the rim of the ring with a file and show a three-dimensional impression.
The opening iron design template is own work.
I make the template of all designs.

ルネサンス期のデザインを指輪に取り込みました。
18金無垢の1.5ミリ板を糸鋸でハンドカットして透かし模様を作ります。
丸めてリング状に形成（ロウ付け）しますが、
この時に使うロウ材は透かしで切り落とした端材を使用します。
つまり同じ材料で接合させるので、リングのつなぎ目は現れません。
これはロウ付けではなく、共付けと呼ばれます。
リング状にした後、縁をヤスリですり出して立体感を出しています。
最初に出てくる鉄製のデザインテンプレートも自作で、
デザインの数だけテンプレートもあります。

I didn't see how you pierce the saw wire through the metal to make the cuts. This is truly beautiful.

He drills a hole in the piece. He then detaches the blade from one end of the saw frame, threads the blade through the hole and reconnects the blade to the frame and continues sawing.

Thanks for watching! I don't use a laser cutter. I am using only a thread saw.

I appreciate that. My table and bench peg is Ironwood (Belian/Ulin: Euxideroxylon zwageri) which is yellow, when fresh but which get black like yours with age, linseed oil and beeswax. But my 'chopping block' on the floor is a softer meranti (Dipterocarpus).a

Hi, I agree wirh all the nice words said about your craft, but being a forester, I am staring myself blind on the timber on your bench. Looks like Borneo Ironwood but I do not think, you have access to it, so what timber is it?
